There seems to be a bug in the visajourney timeline.

In immigration timelines, Igor's list when you filter say I-130, cr1, California service center, the last 15 approved list has 2 entries somehow incorrect, Been that way a month or so probably format of the date.

Fixed!

I am doing an advanced search of all posts by particular author. The results display and say there are 7 pages of results. Page 1 is fine. If I click to page 2--No results found. If I jump to page 2 (or 3,4,5)in the box at the top --No results found.

Am I doing something wrong? I know I've searched by author many times before and found many pages of results displayed. Tonight I can see only the first page. This person posts alot so I know there's more than one page.

I noticed a small bug on the timeline page. The "Filing Method" on the Advance Parole section doesn't show up for anybody.

Also, the Advance Parole section doesn't have an "Approved Date" option, while on the Editing Timeline page, there is.

I'm new to visajourney, and apologize in advance if this isn't the right place to ask a "tech support" question.

I wanted to email another person on the forum to ask a question, so I went to his profile. I clicked on the link "Click here to e-mail me", and got the message "[#10314] Sorry, you are not permitted to send an email via this board."

Any enlightenment on this matter will be appreciated!

Every member on Visa Journey has the option of whether or not they will accept emails. If you got the message that you are not permitted to send an email via this board to that member, it means that the member does not want to receive emails from this site. Many members choose not to allow the email link due to spam and privacy issues. A viable alternative instead of sending an email is to send a Private Message (PM), although there are some members who have chosen to disable this function as well. You can send a message by going to their profile and select 'send a message' on the left hand column, or click on the little envelope icon on their profile at the side of a post they have written. A message box will open up and you can type in your message. You can access your PMs by going to the upper right hand column to your own profile link and click on your user name. From the drop down box, select "Messenger" (It will also tell you how many unread messages you have waiting).

Hope this helps.

Thank you, Kathryn, for taking the time to answer my question with such care!

I would suggest to anyone who maintains the website, that if a user has not enabled email contact, it would be much clearer not to show the "e-mail me" link on their profile -- though maybe more complicated to script :)

Filling in AOS data and clicking on show similar timelines gives only F-129 carbage.

in the same way, there is no way to actually search on AOS.

If you set your visa type to other, again, all you get is K-1 related carbage

and not just that. another bug would be that it doesn't show up even on the AOS statistics page.

yet another bug:

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/aosstats.php?history=90

"AOS Timelines Statistics

The Statistics Below reflect applications filed within the last 90 days."

Total Avg. Total

Records Days to Interview

123 115

that just isn't possible.

what is the extra text that appears below the link about? for assets.sbnation.com ?

Did you add that? It doesn't seem to be part of your profile or anything but I wonder if it is part of the problem?

Looks like whatever it was, Steven's topic is accessible to me now, and so is the site that was causing the problem.

It was Steven's Avatar! Oh, the perils of hot linking, sometimes!
