Hi guys.. we are unable to upload pictures to our personal albums and the public albums.

We have done it before, but now when we try it seems to upload the picture.. but then when we try to place it into an album it says that it was unsuccessful.

We have tried with small file sizes and with larger, all under the 1024 kb limit.

I have noticed other users are uploading into the public galleries, but I can't figure out why we can't.

Any ideas or comments would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

........July 19, 2010: "Touch"..biometrics appt. letter mailed (I-485 & I-765)

.....August 02, 2010: Biometrics appointment

.....August 03, 2010: "Touch" on I-485 & I-765

.....August 11, 2010: Notice of Interview date

.....August 26, 2010: Touches on I-131 & I-765, production of EAD card ordered

.....August 31, 2010: I-131 Travel Doc. approved, EAD production ordered (again)

September 04, 2010: Received EAD card & AP Documents in the mail! (both dated 8/26)

September 20, 2010: AOS Interview...APPROVED!!!

Another error is showing up on the homepage for me. Tried it in 2 different browsers, showing in both. The recent posts feeds is not showing, instead a small black box saying "[[Block new_topics_2016

it seems to upload.. it says:

"Successful Uploads

1 uploads were successful.

Please click 'Continue' to add the files to albums"

..then when i continue, the page says to add the successful upload to an album.

No matter which album I choose (my personal or a public gallery), when i press continue it says:

"Information

The previous file could not be placed.

You have successfully placed all the files"

the picture never goes into an album :(

The text on the right side of portal page aligns too close to the right.. can you put some spacing or indentation on the right like there is on the left?

Quite a few "skin" errors (the look and feel of VJ) crept in with the update last night. They should be fixed. If I missed any let me know!!

On the Membership page, when you click on the first five profiles the name is cut off at the left and all that shows is " 's Profile". It seems fine from the 6th name on down but I didn't check them all.

That is actually the reason why I disabled facebook / twitter "login" methods; where people could sign up for VJ using their accounts there versus the normal registrations. It was causing lots of those issues. In any case there about about 6-7 total accounts. I will ask the members to complete their registration and/or remove the dormant accounts.

I heard there's a hook that forces the names to be something standard (like facebook1 or twitter 23 while it's not been finished) and it'll delete incomplete registrations after so many days.

Yeah I may need to look into that. The IPB method now seems to have issues: slowness (timeouts, lags, etc.), process leads to many incomplete registrations, etc.. For now I decided to leave it off since there has not been any significant requests for it. You can already link your account here to Facebook to "like" topics and share info; the login method though is disabled.
