The topic views update every 15 minutes or so. It is not real time :P.

Is that going to be standard under the new format? Because that was one of the nice features that the old format had.

Also, are you going to keep the left column that shows the person's display name and basic info, center aligned? It just seems jarring to look at and wastes space.

Do you think it would look better left aligned maybe? I can alter if it improves things.

I definitely think it will look better as that's how it was aligned under the old format. It would also create more space for the posts themselves.

Not really a bug, just a typo.

http://www.visajourney.com/content/ir1cr1historical

Step 3 shows I-129F with a receive date....etc

Should say:

I-130 with a receive date .....etc

Service Center : Vermont Service Center

Consulate : Bangkok, Thailand

I-130 Sent : 2008-02-22

I-129F Sent : 2008-04-08

Pay IV bill 2008-10-08

Receive Instruction 2008-11-05

Second interview 2009-03-02 Approved

POE DFW 2009-03-07

Received SS card 2009-03-17

Received GC 2009-04-01

Done for 3 years or 10 years. Haven't decided yet.

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!

Quotes referenced in posts seem to be left out of emailed thread updates. This requires that I usually have to login and look at the thread to determine context.

Captain Ewok,

I apologize in advance if this is the wrong place to mention this.

I noticed some small issues in the dates of the the following timelines:

-- Lifting Conditions : Bio Appt - has the wrong year - date should be 2010-03-08.

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?cfl=0&id=33203

-- Lifting Conditions : Bio Appt - missing leading zero for month - date should be 2010-02-24.

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?cfl=0&id=34103

-- Lifting Conditions : Approval / Denial Date - uses backslashes instead of dashes - date should be 2010-04-30.

Thanks for all your great work!

How about setting up the mailboxes for your moderators and organizers such that new messages push out the oldest messages, when the box is full. Seems I can't send a PM to at least one of your crew. I hope that the reason is that the mailbox is full, and hasn't been emptied in a while.
