am frustrated on something and i searched alot about it but i couldn't find a way to do it. in my timeline, how can I delete the member reviews about the consulate? its start like that

Member Reviews

Consulate Review: United Arab Emirates

Review Topic: K1 Visa

Event Description

Review Date : June 13, 2007

Embassy Review : i have an interview with the US embassy.....etc

also, ِas a suggestion, on the timeline before there are three links down the page about member reviews which look like that

Member Reviews: None Found

To enter a review please select one of the following:

--o Consulate Reviews

--o US Port of Entry Reviews

--o US CIS Local Office Reviews

and when i clicked on the Consulate Reviews it open a page to write the experience of the consulate or embassy. I thought that after done it will go to the Embassy Review page , instead its attached to my personal timeline. my suggestion is that those reviews should go to the Reviews: Embassy/USCIS link up on the main page, because there are many who wrote there experience on the Embassy or POE but its all in there personal timeline and it will take time as it need to go search and click on members timlines instead of just one link.

Thank you :)

When you submit a review it is automatically shown in the timeline view (and the normal review section too). It is just for convenience :).

I checked for the consulate reviews link, my review in my timeline didnt show on the link (Reviews: Embassy/USCIS) you might need to check the embassy of the United Arab Emirates. my question also how can i delete the consulate review from my personal timeline?

thank you :)

Are there plans to update the K3 Guides?

Especially, the direct service center filing and the fact that both the I-130 and I-129F can be sent in at the same time. The new directions on the I-129F reads to send the I-129F petition to the service center listed on the I-130 NOA1 (I-797c), so maybe this would be more appropiate than the guide showing the address of the Chicago drop box.

It is already 13 days past the July 30th changes.

are you sure? it says that you need to send in evidence that you have filed form I-130...

In addition, U.S. citizens petitioning for K-3 visas for their alien spouses must also include evidence that they have filed Form I-130, Petition for alien relative, on behalf of the alien spouse listed on this form, and a marriage certificate evidencing the legal marriage between the citizen and alien.

Yodrak, pskbrk, and most of the K3 forum know about it. Maybe you could ask pshbrk to look up the USCIS release?

ok, but you still need proof that you sent in the I-130.... what proof would you show??

I am just wondering...

I have been through this all already but I just want to make it clear for other people...

I guess you are asking me this. What more proof could you ask than the I-130 petition itself submitted with the I-129F. Or if you are referring to the many people who have sent in the I-130 and not received their NOA1 (I-797c), then a copy of their cashed check, both sides, and a copy of the CRIS case status online showing that the I-130 has been receipted has been accepted for proof.

I see you are avoiding my main point about the K3 guides instructing petitioners to send the I-129F petition to the Chicago lock box.

The same I-129F instructions state:

B. Form I-129F Filing Locations for K-3 Spouse

If you are filing an I-129F petition for your spouse, mail your petition to the Service Center where the underlyingI-130 petition is currently pending. Use the address listed on your most recent receipt notice or transfer notice and include a copy of that notice with your Form I-129F.

I hope this is clear enough for all readers to understand. I only made a suggestion. VJ is not my website and if you prefer to leave the wrong address available for the world to view that is up to the staff at VJ. I would hope you would strive to be accurate.

The guides were changed last month in advance of the change (written to be universal to before and after). Nothing has changed. If anything I should remove the old text however I left it up for the people in the transition as to not confuse everyone that just filed :).

The guide was changed last month to read:

Mail I-129F Package to the Chicago CIS Office

Prior to July 30th, 2007:

Section 12 of the I-129F instructions lists where you should mail the completed form(s) (for a K-3 Visa send to the Chicago address). Mail the package with return receipt requested / delivery confirmation. Send via USPS.

Note: The Chicago Office will process and forward the I-129F package to the National Benefits Center (Missouri)

On or After July 30th, 2007:

Section 12 of the I-129F instructions lists where you should mail the completed form(s). For a K-3 Visa you should send the I-129F to the Service Center where the the underlying I-130 petition is currently pending. Use the address listed on your most recent receipt notice or transfer notice and include a copy of that notice with your Form I-129F. Mail the package with return receipt requested / delivery confirmation. Send via USPS.

Poll that I created is not reflecting the results of my votes.

Initially, it was there, but then when I clicked 'Edit' to make changes to the text of my post, my vote results were gone even though it says I have already voted and the vote count was at one.

Any chance I can vote again without messing it up? :star:

We need yyyy-mm-dd

I have a tool to screen and find those errors but I need to manually correct them. :P

If you're up for some corrections, I found a bunch for you. If you issue the following query:

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list...ll&dfile=No

And sort by each time field descending; you will identify a bunch of members who have data that is not in YYYY-MM-DD format; because they sort right up to the top.
