Whilst the TOS links are working elsewhere they are not working if one is in an actual thread......it takes one back to the main forums page.

Not sure if this was by design or if this is a bug -- and sorry if it's already been covered, I did a search but didn't find it.

When I reply to a second post within the same thread, it lumps my two replies into one post. This never happened with the old interface -- just with the new and improved version.

It's kind of confusing when you are trying to address two different topics, and then your two separate replies get lumped into one continuous post.

Thanks.

Are you using the advanced search? If you utilize all the available options provided you should be ok. If what you are searching for only has 3 characters you also need to include an asterisk eg EAD*

You can also search the old site from the top of the search page by looking for this.......

You are now searching posts on or after Jan 28th 2006. To search prior to this date click here (to view the archives).

Yeah it does take some getting used to. Mostly a single thread is on the one subject so by being able to have all your replies to different posts all within a single reply post is a neat addition I reckon....saves scrolling past all the extra signatures as well. Basically if you post another reply before someone else has posted and within I think its 5 minutes, your posts will all lump together. You can also choose to quote various posts to purposely have them all withing one reply post.

Capt'n there is a gremlin in the calendar. It is showing events incorrectly on the main forum page. eg swirls birthday is not until April yet it has appeared as today. Apparently there is many that are noticing same errors with other events.

Is it possible to get this sorted? The wrong 'birthdays' are really cluttering up the calendar of events making it hard work to see whats going on... :D

In fact looking at it closer, of the 22 events listed only 6 are correct in being listed as happening within the next 5 days....:huh:

It looks as though the problem is when members add an event. Several people said that their events were "reoccuring every week" for the next 3 years (that is why it lists them). They did not fill the form out correctly. They should have clicked "single event". If they did want an event to reoccur once a year they should click "reoccur every year" not "every week".

Also, birthdays are automatically there from your profile. No need to add them again :). I will try and fix a few people's entries but this is nothing I can prevent easily in the future... :(
