Hello Terrie! The humidity is killing my lungs.....I think you can say the same. I love the nice weather, but dread it when it becomes too hard to take a breath.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Tamara

I think that is just terrible what your hubby is enduring at his work.

You know sometimes people think silence = weakness, it isn't true and you know what I may stomach it for a bit but after a while I would have to lash back. It may not be the best thing to do BUT it can make a point to those ignorant racists that he isn't someone to be reckoned with

Before I married my husband and he came here I had people shooting out the mouth left and right with racist comments. Family members really showed their prejudice. He has never said anything about anybody saying anything to him here. That is really sad though that Adam is treated like that. It sounds like he works with a lot of immature ignorant butts.

It is a very tough situation to be in. I used to defend myself until i was blue in the face for leaving Daemian. He was going to come here with me but, he showed interest in staying in NY because he was in school and had his friends and everything so I couldnt force him to come. So I have to make the effort to be here and there as much as possible and its so stressful and hard on the soul. My heart is never 100% full whereever i am. Big hugs to you Tasha. I hope you guys make it thru this.

:dance::dance: Happy Monday MENA!!! (F):dance::dance:

First off, Melly, thanks for remembering! The party was a BLAST...but I couldn't feel my feet after that long day. We just never sat down for a minute! It was non-stop from 8am till about 2am for us. I swear I thought I was about to fall over by midnight but I hung in there for late staying neighbors and friends...OUCH! :P I have tons of pics to post I will put up on FB so you guys can see them. Its hard to post many here. I will put a few in my siggy some time this week. The bounce house and margarita machine were a huge HIT!! And I made some friends, invited the "party rental" people in for food, drinks and fun and they stayed all night as well. :innocent: I think I can hook a person up with a free rental (of course in AZ) anytime now!:devil: The best part was...waking up the next morning and the ENTIRE house was cleaned from top to bottom by one of our friends that had stayed over. I ADORE HIM! :luv: Our next party is the house warming party when we move to the new house, isA. So VJ girls, please start making your flight arrangements!

Melly, hang in there girl...time will fly by I promise. Besides we are only a PM away! (F)

Tasha, I wish we were closer honey. I am here anytime. Call me day or night ... email, text, call I'm here. It's not easy these first years of adjustment and I know how hard it is. I know my husband is struggling so hard knowing he can't go home now and wont be able to for a while. It's crushing to him when he hears news from home and he can't reach out to his loved ones (physically). I'm not in your specific situation but believe me we have had our ups and downs so I'm here when you need me. (F)

I have missed all of you so much...its been a crazy few months for me (our family) and I'm on here then off for a bit, then back, then off again. I'm gettin' dizzy! :P

I hope everyone has a wonderful day and a quick and uneventful rest of the week! :star:

*edited to add my P.S.*

We finally found our "new" doggie! His name is Angus (oh well...not the beef but Angus Young). I will definately post a pic of him for everyone to see. He's a doll baby! He is a 1.5 year old Boxer mix ...his Dad is being shipped off to Iraq in 1 month and so he needed to find a home for him. We thought what a perfect fit! Plus he loves the babies so much!

Anyone know how to make a quick buck??? Ex-husband didn't pay child support this month.....struggling here!! :crying:

I hear ya. Mine hasn't paid since June or July '08 (i can't remember). Just filed with the state a month ago so God willing something will be coming sometime soon. We were doing this without the State's involvement for many years but he's slacked for way too long for me to keep with the honor system. Did you know they can totally freeze their assets if they don't pay?

My family was the same way. Tasha I'm so very sorry for what you are going through. The only words of encouragement I can think of are that he is at least trying to be a good dad to both. Some fathers just don't even care you know? That being said, I have to wonder if he's getting pressure from the ex wife? Do you think this is his idea alone? That's just me thinking outloud. I'd be majorly po'd and it would take all I have inside me not to give him the boot. I mean when you discussed all of this before marrying did he say he'd be in Egypt 4 months out of each year?? OMG I'm po'd for you now my blood is boiling.:angry::angry: And can he still give you money while he's gone? Must be nice to just pack up and leave for a few months without having to worry about a mortgage. ok i have to bow out of this because I swear if you lived closer I'd be over there giving him a piece of my mind!!!!

My husband has been down in the dumps for a few weeks now. He was supposed to go to Cairo this past April but finances being what they are he wasn't able to and probably won't be able to until next year. I actually wouldn't mind if he left for a month since I know he misses his sisters so very much but only if he could afford to still give me the $ each week that he gives and paid for his tickets there and back. Then again I don't have a baby with him and that would make a HUGE difference in my attitude about the whole thing.

Happy monday night I guess lol

Had my Dr. appt today and alhamdulillah everything looks good :luv: I can't wait to meet him already hehehe.

Tasha- I'm so sorry sister for what you're going through! I know this is frustrating you and is really consuming you emotionally. Tell him how you feel and don't let it bottle inside. It's a couple of months before Ramadan you have time; so many things can happen during that time be patient and see how things turn out. You're in my prayers (F)

Sandrilla- You too will be in my prayers; stay strong and insha Allah things will get better.

Jess- Love Josh's new picture. I'm sorry for the situation you are in! I know it's not the same but I miss my family so much and sometimes I feel torn between here and there...This summer the whole family are visiting from Saudi and meeting everyone else in Cairo and It hurts that I won't be able to be there :(. I wish I was closer to my family.

Melly- Your husband will be back before you know it

Nawal- Glad to know the party rocked :D Can't wait to see the pictures. I hope your life will always be filled with happiness and joy (L)

JJ- Awwww...I think it's so sweet :luv:
