Good morning Maureen. Hope your day goes by quickly for ya! :star:

I'm on day 3 of hubby being gone. It's not going fast enough and I am still :clock:

Insha'Allah his trip will go well and he will be back to me soon.

Found this video and had to share. Not sure if it's been posted before or what but it totally made me laugh out loud.

Morning early birds and Melly!! I'm sorry Melly you are missing hubby.

My husband informed me last night he is going to try and go back home to EG for Ramadan and spend another two months there. I don't know what to think. I am beside myself actually but don't have the fight left in me right now. He thinks he is doing the right thing by being dad here and there. I'm not so sure it is the best thing though...

Good morning! Where did the weekend go? It's Monday and on our way to another 100+ week!

Tasha, just don't know what to say about his wanting to go back again for Ramadan. I hope all will

work out before then. Know it puts such an added strain on your life and i'm so sorry.

Ugh-2 months??? will he be able to get that time off of work?Hopefully, it's just talk and maybe it won't be as long. 2 months is alot to be away.

im down to 94.5 days!!! time is passing quickly.

June 11 05-Married George, civil ceremony in New York

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 10-filed for divorce

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

He just came back from mid Jan to mid March from EG. I know he wants to spend Ramadan with his family but it shocked me to hear another month after that. I do think his employers are stupid if they keep him but I have a good idea they will. My husband isn't adjusting to life here...he was, then he went home and God knows what happened and came back very negative about America and life here and feeling like he isn't a good provider and husband (well I guess not traveling back home like this!) . I am fighting for my marriage every day and to make him feel welcome here. At times I think he is adjusting then he talks to family or friends at home and he reverts back. I pray that this isn't his last trip home to EG or he doesn't come home more negative. Maybe I should look at it as a time to try and figure things out while he is gone. Sorry guys, VJ is like my therapy right now.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

You don't have to apoligize, we are all here for you. Maybe he just needs to get 'one more trip' out of his system and will come home and settle in. I know some of the men live out of their suitcases for the first year. Keep your chin up sister.

Did ya'll see the MTV Movie awards last night?????? Twilight won for best movie, best actor, best actress, best fight.....etc (oh, best kiss...) and......they played a clip from New Moon! Jess, I wish ya was here! Only 94 days? yahooo :P
