I guess it depends on the location of the operation. I had an operation before ( myomectomy) but it was not a problem during my medical but i can remember there was one post here, the girl had an operation somewhere in her neck and she was asked to show a certificate.

I guess so...

I had my operation last January, then they asked some papers regarding my operation. I brought it with me. The staff at the SLEC told me that they needed to know about it so that it can be declare in my medical records which I need to give for immigration at my POE.

I had an operation of a tendon sheath neoplasm on my right wrist. The scar of my wrist can be suspected of attempted suicide as if I cut it lol ....On my medical exam, they looked for the medical result of that operation including the result of the biopsy.

If the surgical operation involved biopsy, just prepare the medical record on the day of your medical exam to be safe and to avoid hassles.

Had one too but wasnt asked for any records or certificates from the doctor. They ask to see if you lie about it coz they know so always better to be honest.

I had my cyst removed in my right breast too, and my medical was early in the morning, I was number 4 in the physical doctor where she asked what was the scar and told her I had a benign cyst removed and that was it, she did not asked any papers.
