Hi Ladies,

Just another quick questions regarding trips in Japan...

Been there and worked more than one time, in a different places and different months and year. Do I need to list the address and date for each trip in the form (DS-230)? Each trip was exactly six months. I know it's a shallow question but I'm a bit confused. Also, I know it's not required to get a Police Certificate from each place. But if you will going to get one (after receive the instruction) how long does it takes?

Thank you in advance guys...

More Important then that .....

Have you gotten the POLICE Clearance CERTIFICATE from JAPAN?

Since you lived there 6 months or more....it takes long time to get those, we have been waiting for one for Bahrain for almost 2 months...still have not received it, which will make my I-129f filing worthless unless embassy extended for another 4 months...

The DS230 form should be filled with the same information that was provided in the original I-129F filing...the same question was asked in the original filing.

Happyndinlove,

These are the steps to get the Japan Police Clearance:

1. You need to wait for your case to be forwarded to USEM.

2. You need to have the appointment letter from USEM ( interview appointment).

3. Once you have the appointment letter, go to USEM to get the request letter at window x.

-bring your passport, the lady at window x will ask you for it.

-You need to know your Manila Case Number, that's the first thing the lady at window x will ask you.

4. Once you have the request letter, go to Japan Embassy.

-Japan Embassy Staff will ask for the request letter.

-You will ask to fill out the form

-You will then be instructed to go to Camp Crame for finger printing.

-Go back to JapEm for final instructions.

5. I only waited for a month to have my Jap PC. (they will call you once they have it)

6. Bring your passport and that paper JapEm staff will give you to claim your PC.

If you are from the province, better request you PC at JapEm in Manila. It will take 2-3 months in the provinces.
