Hi Guys,

I am a bit concerned here... I received the NOA for the AOS last Friday but still have not received the NOA for the EAD. I mailed both applications altogether.

It has been a bit over 2 weeks already! Is there any email address where I can enquire with the Immigration?

Anyone who has received their NOA, what was the time frame in between when you received the NOA for the AOS and EAD?

STAGE 1 - I-129F (PETITION FOR ALIEN)

* 2005-10-21: I129F Application being sent

* 2005-10-24: NOA1 Application confirmed received by email

* 2005-12-02: Received National Police Certificate (Australia)

* 2006-01-03: Received National Police Certificate (Mauritius)

* 2006-01-23: NOA2 Approval received by email

* 2005-01-27: Received NOA2 Letter by Snail Mail

STAGE 2 - K-1 (FIANCE VISA)

* 2006-02-01: The officer at NVC confirmed the case was forwarded to the US Consulate in Australia

* 2006-02-13: Receive Packet 3

* 2006-02-14: Re-Schedule for another National Police Certificate (Australia) with FINGERPRINTS!

* 2006-02-15: Medical Examination Appointment & Mailed Back Packet 3

* 2006-02-28: Receive Packet 4

* 2006-03-22: Interview Scheduled

* 2006-03-22: K-1 Visa APPROVED

I don't think you will get a specific NOA for the EAD. It is a package. Don't fret!! Don't expect too much info from them! I like to think they are so busy approving applications that they don't have time to keep us all informed about status.

16 Nov 29 Nov Notice date

3 Dec Received NOA 1

3 Jan 05 Please I just want to be touched

3 may 05 NOA2 E mail notification

7 May 05 Mail NOA2

11 May 05 sent petition to Bogota

18 May Packet 3 arrived

19 May Checklist taken to consulate

31 May Packet 4 delivered

29 June visa granted

1 July Visa delivered

Sometime in July Lucero came to US

13 Sept 05 Married

1 Nov 05 -USCIS recieved 485 and EAD

13 December RFE stupid things I should have included Returned very quickly

27 March received bio letter for New Orleans

7 Apr_06 Bio done in New Orleans

20 April 06 Touched on all applications

21 April Email received EAD approved

27 Apr Received EAD card

30 May 2006 Received appointment letter for JaX on 13 July 2006

13 July Interview successful approved

20 July Received green card

30 June 08 Sent I751 to remove conditions

25 July 08 Application returned erroneously incorrect fee

27 July mailed new application with separate checks

15 Sept 08 Application returned erroneously K2 not within 90 day timeframe

17 Sept Mailed 3rd application with mountains of proof of error copied Senator Mel Martinez

09 October 4th application package sent. This time they said the app signature page was a copy

10 Oct Sent package again 4th time.

25 Oct Received another NOA for Wife with $625 for the amount with one year extension

30 Oct 2008 Still nothing for step daughter. Checks still haven't cleared the bank

24 November Checks finally cleared the bank

February biometrics for wife Nothing for daughter.

I don't think you will get a specific NOA for the EAD.

I got NOA's for these, all filed together at the same time in the same envelope.

EAD

AP

I-485

I-130

The EAD NOA looks just like any other NOA, except it has the NOA form numbers on and a different MSC-XXX-XXX-XX number of course.

It will come, just give it a little more time :)

25 March 2006 - Mailed AOS package to Chicago! (I-485, EAD, AP)

28 March 2006 - AOS package recieved (day 1)

4 April 2006 - I-130, I-765 (EAD) NOA date by USCIS. NO AP, yet. (day 7)

6 April 2006 - Checks cashed (NOT AP)

7 April 2006 - I-130, I-765 NOA's recieved in mail! (day 10)

10 April 2006 - I-131 (AP) RETURNED. Should have mailed it to Nebraska Service Center <confused> (originally sent it to Chicago Lockbox with AOS..) (day 13)

11 April 2006 - I-131 mailed to Nebraska as requested (day 14)

14 April 2006 - Bio appt letter in mail (day 17)

17 April 2006 - I-131 (AP) NOA1 received(day 20)

2 May 2006 - Biometrics completed I-485 and I-765 (day 35)

9 May 2006 - I-131 (AP) RFE email recieved, RFE request by USCIS. (day 42)

13 May 2006 - RFE Recieved, missed a bunch of stuff? (day 46)

15 May 2006 - Mailed requested info back (Nebraska) (day 48)

22 May 2006 - I-485 Interview Notice Arrived! (July 13th)! (day 55)

22 June 2006 - AP Approved (day 86)

29 June 2006 - Interim EAD success in Denver DO.

13 June 2006 - Interview. "not concrete approved", received two emails later same day approving I-485 and I-130. "welcome notice was mailed" and "approval notice was mailed"

17 July - I-485 Welcome notice received and I-130 approval received

18 July - I-485 "after approving your application, we ordered you a new card" email received.

24 July - GREEN CARD RECEIVED! All info correct. Apply to lift conditions 7/13/08

Mine arrived over 3 days, one per day. I got the EAD one last. However I was able to guess the reciept number by added one to the one for my I-130, and inputting that to the USCIS website. I don't recommend this, but it worked for me!

EAD has its own NOA1. Each three application, 485, 130, and EAD, came with a separate envelope. Mine reciept numbers are not straight continuerious numbers... But pretty close...May be try?
