skipped choice of agent - is it ok?

Hi

we don't know how but the attorney we got in for the expedite at USCIS appeared on the Automated voice system of NVC for our IV

operator at NVC told me we could send mail to remove her.

that was on the 25th and we did

then on the 27th I called again and asked for news and operator asked for our email addresses

on the 29th AOS and IV fee bills were generated and forwarded to our attorney saying to him he had been picked as agent ????

AND LUCKILY we got a mail copy of it and that put us in a position to pay the bills

so on the 30th we paid

but at this point I have not had the possibility to pick my agent

Any issue to be foreseen as I have not done it and we have picked the bills direcly?

I will call tomorrow the NVC

but if anybody can help me, welcome.

Visa received : 09-11-09 valid till 03-10-10

October 10th entered US with Visa Waiver Program for 2 weeks holidays (not usual with visa received!)

had to go through secondary inspections to explain

November 25th entered again US with WVP, officer did not notice my green card visa

left US on dec 28 to avoid meeting the substantial presence test for IRS

Jan 9 2010 entered and activated green card though PHL port of entry

waiting for SSN requested with DS230 and 10 years GC

01-30 received tracking number for GC Welcome issued on 01-27

but not yet SSN

SSN expected by Feb 20 else I might go and ask for one regardless of DS230

GC expected by March 27

Feb 3 2010 update card ordered says to allow for 30 days

Feb 8 2010 update saying approval notice sent

Feb 12 2010 received GC card Permanent resident valid till 2020

Feb 18 2010 went to file ss5 for ssn card as not yet received and center would not find me in ssn files

Nope...I dont think there will be any issues as you have already sent an email to remove ur attorney as ur agent.

Calling DOS begins,here is what I was told

Jul 24,09 Pending,you can call every day for update but the day they call him for passport it means something is up so you get to know it before we do

Jul 31,09 Pending AP

Aug 06,09 Call from USEM requesting to submit passport

Aug 07,09 Every thing looks very good,visa issuance is up to the consulate!!!

Aug 07,09 Passport submitted

Aug 07,09 USEM is requesting applicant's passport :)

Aug 17,09-call 1 Visa issued Aug 3rd,EM recvd passport on 10th but still havent returned it

Aug 17,09-call 2 Case pending some kind of processing (URGHHHHHHHHH NOT AGAIN)

Aug 18,09 call to pick up passport,picked up from AMEX

Sep 26,09 REUNION :)
