Several of the questions have more than one answer. For some of the questions, it only asks for one answer, like this:

6. What is one right or freedom from the First Amendment?*

▪ speech

▪ religion

▪ assembly

▪ press

▪ petition the government

However, for other questions, it gives multiple answers but does not ask for just one answer. I am guessing AbuS would only need to give one as the answer, but he wants to be sure he does not have to give them all:

2. What does the Constitution do?

▪ sets up the government

▪ defines the government

▪ protects basic rights of Americans

10/14/05 - married AbuS in the US lovehusband.gif

02/23/08 - Filed for removal of conditions.

Sometime in 2008 - Received 10 year GC. Almost done with USCIS for life inshaAllah! Huzzah!

12/07/08 - Adopted the fuzzy feline love of my life, my Squeaky baby th_catcrazy.gif

02/23/09 - Apply for citizenship

06/15/09 - Citizenship interview

07/15/09 - Citizenship ceremony. Alhamdulilah, the US now has another american muslim!

Note that the test isn't given in multiple choice format. It's given orally. They ask the question, without giving you a bunch of things to choose from, and you state the answer. You don't have to say the answer in exactly the same words as they use (but of course it won't hurt to use their exact words). You're right that several of the questions have multiple correct answers, such as the "Name one of ..." questions. Sometimes where several answers are shown in the sample guide, some of them are just slightly different phrasings of essentially the same idea.

Thanks. AbuS comes from a culture where education is essential "memorize x, y and z and then regurgitate it back to me exactly as I gave it to you," so he's memorized everything in the study guide exactly as printed, ha.
