Left VJ as the only window open on my computeronly to receive a notice that someone was just to implant this virus on my computer, also happened on another board. It was blocked, but wondering if anyone else received it, and most of all, who is sending it.

If I close all internet windows, don't receive stuff like this. Could shut off my computer or close all windows, but I get lazy.

odds are it's coming thru your isp and not from vj. a guy at work pulled his hair out due to all of the attacks he had on roadrunner - from within the roadrunner network! check your firewall logs to see what's listed in there.

It won't hurt to check for a root kit, and check the start up menu for exploits, expecially if it happens again after a reboot. There is a lot of stuff that hangs in the temp folders and swap files, so dump those before doing a sweep.
