Jeez, I don't think he was that rude... I think you sound ruder typing all in capital letters (and it is also very annoying)

Please, press the "caps lock" key next time you post until it is "off", it will seriously change the tone of your posts.

And no, I don't know the answer, but I suppose that you are in the right path. They also take your digital finger prints when you enter the country, probably to see if you are wanted or something :P

I maybe wrong, but I believe it's to make sure it's the same person that came into the country. They take the finger prints and compare it to the ones that were first taken when he came into the country.

do u know what cap means ? i let u know it means u r yelling or shouting. so remember next time to put in caps. good luck.

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

"Plz quit the drama over nothing and get a life. "

This statement may not be rude for someone, but this connotation is somehow offending.. The OP is just asking question, just give him the answer he/she needs.

Im not defending the OP, but sometimes people are not aware of the big CAPS...

To the OP, now you know the meaning of using CAPS. try to avoid it.

Yes i think thats's it to confirm that you are that person.

Plus i remember when i handed my documents to the CO he asked to skan both hands and thumbs, then when it came time for the interview the lady that interviewed me asked to scan my left hand, so guessing its to confirm you are that same person.

I believe it's to confirm who you are in the future, but also now you'll be in the system. That way if anything was to happen...you're in the United States records!

thanks everyone for their replies, sorry i just find it easier typing in all caps but i will remember for next time, i was in no way shouting or yelling or wasnt trying to be. I immediately found itzallgood's comment hurtful because i was just trying to get an answer to my question. Maybe someone else might not be offended by it but i sure was, that just shows some people dont think before they type. I wish everyone luck on their journey and kindness towards other people!

I don't find the use of all caps to be offensive at all. It's a little easier to read when it's not all caps, but it sure isn't that big of a deal.

To the OP.... don't let this incident stop you from posting in the future. VJ is, and always should be, a place where anybody can come to find answers to questions they have during the difficult immigration process.
