*Yawn* I woke up at 5 am and could not go back to sleep so here I am! (Thinking... pah!) I need to go to the grocery store and then my youngest and I are going to hang out and see what kind of trouble we can get into and have a special lunch together. Then I'll probably sleep all afternoon like a bum. The teen-aged thing finally comes back from visiting family tonight and I have missed him something terrible. He's been gone 3 weeks. It's going to be so good to have him back.

I hope everyone has a stellar day.

Good morning  I've been up since 3:30 w/ awful cramps.... gotta fly in a few hours - yuk, nothing worse than being on a plane in a small seat having cramps - BAH! Oh well, I've got an arsenal of supplies that, inch'allah, will help me feel better and keep me sane til I can get to my sis's house and take a nap!

On a completely different note, I'm really afraid this computer is going to crash soon... I keep getting warning msgs of "imminent danger"! YIKES... So, I guess I'll be shopping around for a new computer w/ my techie whiz bro-in-law

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend and enjoy the holiday!

I'll be around poking in now and then...

Hey everybody. Well Annalee was up at the butt crack of dawn too. Nanni, "I'm hungry!" I said what do you want. She said "popcorn." Dont think so, not for breakfast. Her mom is coming after lunch when she gets off work. Whoohooo!! . Only joking. We have a good time. But my house is a wreck. I was online with Hachemi last night from 3pm until almost 9pm, which is 3am for him, working on the interview stuff. I think today we need to do something else and get our minds of it. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

What's wrong with popcorn for breakfast Meriem??? :dancing: It is in the vegetable group isn't it? My dad always finds "interesting" breakfasts to feed my kiddos then always has a very good explaination on WHY he did it. For the popcorn I can hear him saying something like "Well.....what is corn pops cereal...popped corn!"

Yea, true. I just think of it as a snack food. The child is such a picky eater. Wish I could get her to eat more healthy stuff.

Boy do I know all about picky eaters! My son is the pickiest eater on earth, probably do more so to his autisim since a lot of foods don't "look right" to him. I've learned to doctor many of the foods he does eat. His doctor even told me not to be afraid to fix him a milk shake in the mornings for breakfast with an added packet of a "quick start breakfast" or a scoop or two of a protein powder. I've even learned how to put tofu in practically everything I cook (which isn't a lot by the way) ;) I was terribly pickly as a child and grew out of most of my food phobias. Hopefully she will too.

Noura

Sorry to hear about your laptop Noura, I had my fairly new laptop's harddrive crash on me about 6 months ago. At the time my husband was still in Morocco and I couldn't wait a couple days to get it fixed so I had no choice but to go shopping for a new one so I could talk to Karim. I had thought about renting a laptop but by the time I paid for that I figured it could go on a new laptop. And since laptops don't last like desktops, it's the evil of all the convience of having a great laptop. Then I had to go and pay a laptop repair guy to save my files on the laptop since I couldn't get it to even open up. That cost me about $250 for my files, then I could Fedex it back to Compac for their free repair since it was still on warrenty. But I wasn't about to lose all my files, so I had to pay. If you haven't already, try and save your files, so if you lose anything you will not be upset. It's amazing how much a computer can become your life when you are apart from your love and for everything else.

Hope everything works out for you.

Thanks for your wishes Paula, it's not my laptop, tho, it's my desktop. Strangely, my laptop is a little older but last year I doubled the hardrive and RAM and it's sailing smooth. My desktop is another story... I think it will go to a computer graveyard soon. The question is... repalce it w/ another desktop or a new laptop??? HMMMMM???? shopping, shopping, shopping!

Still cramping, not sleeping well, ugghhh!!! This must end soon so I can enjoy vacation w/ my family!

I miss my darling man :crying:

Happy Sunday everyone!
