hey paying online is very very fast and fool proof. good luck. abby n sheryl

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

One last thought though, your check may be rejected along with the entire packet. Not because it is a check, nor because they would wait to cash the check to issue a NOA1, but because of the error in making it payable to USCIS.[/b]

I know, I have a BUNCH of CHECKS here though....lol ......... well. it is what it is, so what can I do but to wait.

In reference to paragraph I : ---- - It is so obvious that this is the subject matter of my post. However, the issue was just diverted when someone posted (based on his/her experience) the MO vs Check...

If so, don't hesitate to use a new check, made payable to Department of Homeland Security of course!

May 30, 2009 - Priority Mail with Confirmation Receipt I-751 Packet

June 1, 2009 - Packed Received by USCIS around 4PM (per USPS Confirmation Delivery Receipt) - now, what's next?

June 2, 2009 - I-797C Receipt Date (Time 21:07....are they operating 24 hours???)

June 3, 2009 - Cashed Check/Bank Cleared

June 4, 2009 - USCIS Postage Date

June 5, 2009 - Local Post Office Receipt date (so, its been sitting on our mail box in house #2 for 5 days...)

June 11, 2009 - Got it! 1 year extension notice......

June 18, 2009 - Received Biometrics schedule

July 10, 2009 - Biometrics Day (cancelled/re-sched)

July 23, 2009 - Biometrics day

November 2, 2009 - Approved

November 5, 2009 - Received via Mail "Approval Notice"

Waiting for actual GC

----NO RFE!!!-----------

Who paid online? Are you referring on paying "online" for this particular transaction? Show me how? I tried browsing USCIS site but failed to find one... :blush::blink:
