My boyfriend recently went for the 3rd time to apply for a visitor visa, and for the 3rd time they denied him one. He is Nigerian but living in Spain, and recently was approved to be a Spanish citizen. I used to work for a payday advance place and they told him they are denying him because they suspect we were running a scam, and I was supposedly cashing checks for him. Now let me assure you NONE of this is TRUE!!! Not even close. For one I no longer work there.. two..when I did, we did not offer any such check cashing services. He was denied a visitor visa from something that is not true.

My question is... Once he takes his oath for Spain and becomes a citizen.. and we apply for a fiance visa... and we go through the whole process... is this accusation gonna come up again in our quest? I am seriously heartbroke and am afraid that they have blacklisted him in some way for something that isn't true. I want to know if there is any chance of us being together, married, and living in the US in our future?

No. They are denying him because citizens of Nigeria are seen as being at high risk for illegal immigration and particularly one in Spain that has no binding ties to his home country (obviously) As a citizen of Spain he may be eligible for the VWP when he has a Spanish passport, not sure about that. Check the visitor visa requirements for Spain. This situation exists for MANY countries, including Ukraine where my wife was denied a visitor visa a year before I met her for a business trip paid by her company to New York. It had NO affect on our K-1 visa at all.

Provided he was denied for the "usual reason" it will have no affect. The story you heard is simply not true. If they suspected him of running scams there would be more action than just denying a visa.
