Yellow letter indicated to bring all passports and travel documents issued by any government (my wife has lived in a few countries). No interview letter yet.

I wonder what time Poisontee's interview is/was?? Hope they come back to tell us!!

This time in 3 weeks, I will be sitting at the DO, hopefully waiting for an OL *wishful thinking*

I passed my tests of English and us history. However the Officer Said I will receive a written Notice in the mail. She was a young lady and went over the application line by line. Took about 50 Mins.

I was hoping for a decision today. I just have to wait!!

Congrats to your passed English and Civics test! Maybe the IO needs a green light from the supervisor first - could be a reason why she didn't give you the decision right away. I'm sure you'll hear from them pretty soon.

Good job passing the English and Civics tests... I'm sure its just a formality to get supervisor approval like Imzadi said - did they give you a timeframe for sending a letter?

I started the civics studying a while ago. Most questions are OK, there are just one or two questions that always trip me up...

I got IL yesturday. My interview is on OCT 8 2009 at Hartford.

I just have a question. I am buying house in NJ in mid september 09 but my employment will be in CT ,I will be renting a room and living here during the week and going to my house in NJ during weekend. Do I still qualify as resident of CT and take interview at Hartford or will I be a resident of NJ and should transfer my interview to Newark.?

deep123, if I were you I wouldn't transfer my interview to newark. It is the most unpredictable and busy places of all the centers people have filed at on this thread. if somehow you can maintain your residence in CT until interview you should seriously think about doing that. maybe just apply for change of address and give your other friend or relative's address or something for a couple of months...

by the way, i called the uscis again, and the lady said that i am still in the queue for interview date. they said that they put me on the wait list on July 20th, however no information on where they are at in the waiting list processing wise...however she said that i should get my CFR letter soon, they did not mail it out yet but it sounded like they would do that soon...

lets see...so i m suggesting whoever from one of the newark filers on this thread calls the uscis next should ask when was his/her application put in the queue and how far his/her application is in the queue....i will call them up once again next week to find out the same about my case...

Hmmmm that's good to know. I was going to call next week some time. I did get this email update this morning:

I didn't know this but apparently they do, I was surprised actually! I double-checked the date on the calender, and yes, it is a Saturday! Also, the interview letter says "Saturday 19 September"....
