Would someone mind telling me what their NOA letter said on it? I wrote earlier about receiving notice that my husband was not eligible for naturalization until 9/26/09 (that is his green card date). Today I received TWO NOA's in the mail dated July 6. They are both the same. I'm now wondering if someone realized their error and corrected it? This NOA has the statement: The above application has been received by our office and is in process. Our records indidcate your personal information is as follows:

Date of Birth: (correct date)

Address where you live: (correct address)

Please verify your personal information listed above and immediately notify our office blah blah blah.

Upon receipt of all required Records Checks, you will be scheduled to appear for an interview at your local USCIS field office.

Also it states Payment INformation as well (balance $0.00)

Please, can someone tell me if that is what your NOA's looked like? Can I assume that it has been accepted?

Naturalization:

6/28/09: Mail N-400 to Texas

7/6/09: NOA1

7/24/09: Biometrics

10/08/09: Interview

11/21/09: Receive oath date

01/22/10: Oath Date

My NOA had the same content as yours. Most probably, as you said, they recognized their mistake and corrected it. Have you considered calling the customer service line for clarification?

Hey Phillydude!

I think you were getting your fingerprints taken at the same time with me (across from me behind a little divider wall). You were wearing a polo shirt and had a small talk with the rep about taking your fingerprints only 3 months ago, and she told you they won't be able to retrieve those? I thought of asking if you were registered on visajourney.. :content: How funny is that!

I got my fingerprints taken today, too...was out of the ASC at 10:44 AM...the whole process took 10-14 mins. The center is nice and clean, and I was surprised to see absolutely no waiting lines...I was taken right in!

Now with the Phillydude we will be able to determine if doing the walk-in speeds up the rest of the process!

I think this is so cool! I would be curious to see when we receive our Interview letters now and if they are going to be scheduled within 15 mins from each other. Keep me posted!

To Shakysgirl, my first NOA had that exact verbiage. But I would definitely contact them on Monday to confirm they straightened it out for your husband.

June 11, 2009 - check cashed

Hey,

My NOA had the exact same content. I don't think we need to worry about that since I have received my biometrics invitation since then.

Also, you are not going to get any extra info from customer service on this. I tried it, and all they had to say was that they cannot investigate a case any further until it has already been 30 days since you submitted the information.

But like I said, I guess there is nothing to worry about since I have received my biometrics since then and haven't received any extra corrected NOAs.

As others have said, yes that's what the NOA looks like. If you are not far from your DO, might be worth an Infopass, just to make sure that the mistake has been corrected... Another option would be to call the misinformation line, and basically insist to talk to a second level IO by saying you don't have a case number etc, not the 'robots' on the first line, second line folks can look you up by A#.

Finally they cashed your check and got your NOA - congratulations! Long wait... but eventually USCIS gets to things... :)

I have received the biometrics letter too. It is on 24 July. I hope everybody gets speedy processing.
