Hi All,

I registered today to this forum and below is my time line for Atlanta office. I have also added my time line in the main list.

Also had a suggestion, instead of using Sent Date in the list, we should use Priority Date (which is also received date by USCIS)

as that is more accurate about when the application process started (Just a suggestion guys!!!)

Congrats to everyone who just got their NOA's.....just checked my online banking and the check hasn't been cashed. I figure with the holiday people are on vacation, etc. I expect we'll probably get the NOA in a week or so. Hope everyone had a nice holiday!

Hang in there Shakysgirl - soon the NOA will turn up... seems like things have slowed a little for the June filers generally than in previous months, perhaps its just vacation season at USCIS also...

Congrats to all the June filers, I imagine the majority of us going through have added to the list by now.

I attended the biometrics at 8am, arriving early with about 8 other people. The new office at Oakland Park Florida seems nicely laid out, with plenty of parking (free) and we (I) was in and out with little fuss. Just full fingerprints again, which took a little bit of time to obtain, I think I have worn them out. I just hope I dont get called back for a repeat, or for photos, which they didnt seem to need.

I was given the book and audio CD for the questions likely to be asked by the IO, so now its that familiar waiting... again

Thanks for sharing your FP experience... yes, I'm concerned about my fingerprints too 'wearing out' - had a helluva job for the I-751 biometrics, had to ink & paper prints too (made me feel like a criminal ), the operator said he could tell I type a lot in my job. One year later, hope my fingers will be good enough...

I think your message must have brought me luck, because the biometrics letter was waiting in the mailbox last night... Unfortunately its in an ASC far from our home, which seems odd, not the one I went to for AOS and I-751 - but oh well I'll take it Hopefully the last time!!

Hi PRK73 - welcome to VJ and the June Filers! Thanks for your suggestion about using the PD also. I don't mind at all, let's see if anybody has opinions strongly for/against.

The only issue I can see with just using the PD date, is that its hard to track for the people who haven't yet got their NOAs. Sometimes USCIS processes the incoming package in a week or two and sometimes in 30 days or more, so its tough for the people who haven't got a NOA yet to see if they are out of line with everyone else... I guess we could track both if we can squish the table so that horizontally it doesn't take any more space - does anyone have further input/ideas....?

Based on other threads in this forum and other forums, I see May filers have started getting

their interview letters. If USCIS continues with the same pace, I am hopeful that June filers

should start getting IL in August for interviews to be held in September/October.

That's sort of what I hope, too. I reckon to receive my interview letter either in the first week of August or it might be in the mailbox after my return from Austria - I travel from Aug. 5-16.

I just received my FP notice today. Couldn't check my mails yesterday so it could have been sitting there since yesterday. The FP date is 7/22/09 in Elizabeth NJ.

Does anyone know if walk-in earlier than the given date actually speeds-up the whole remaining process (i.e. receiving the IL and so on...)?

Try walk-in if it is allowed at your DO.

Thanks - I wish walk-ins were mentioned on the bio letter - I guess that means they are not... but I should just be patient. I'd like to do it asap, so that if I need to do it again it wouldn't make a huge delay...

Based on other threads in this forum and other forums, I see May filers have started getting

their interview letters. If USCIS continues with the same pace, I am hopeful that June filers

should start getting IL in August for interviews to be held in September/October.

That's sort of what I hope, too. I reckon to receive my interview letter either in the first week of August or it might be in the mailbox after my return from Austria - I travel from Aug. 5-16.

Yeah that would be great. I would expect to have an interview after the 3 year anniversary is complete, which is after the 2nd week of September...

@Imzadi - I think you should bring all the June Filers some great chocolate from Austria to soothe our N400 nerves And yes, it's almost guaranteed for you to receive the letter when you are on vacation. It's just like washing your car, sure to bring the rain

Hi Everyone,

I just received my FP notice today. Couldn't check my mails yesterday so it could have been sitting there since yesterday. The FP date is 7/22/09 in Elizabeth NJ.

Does anyone know if walk-in earlier than the given date actually speeds-up the whole remaining process (i.e. receiving the IL and so on...)?

Congrats on your FP letter! Regarding whether walk-in actually speeds up stuff, I'm not really sure. A while back in this thread CColdwell and I discussed this, for example as I mentioned above, I'm applying based on 3 years of marriage, where to be eligible for naturalization you have to complete 3 years as a PR. My three years as a PR will not be complete until after September 8th this year. So I don't think they would interview me until this date is passed (this is a hypothesis!), so my bio date in some ways doesn't matter. If you are already 'elgibile' perhaps it would speed up your process. If your ASC does walk-ins, and its convenient for you, then I would give it a try - nothing to lose..

Yeah I did see your previous discussion on the issue of walk-in. But like you said I am already eligible. I was wondering if someone got their biometrics done by walking in earlier and really received the interview letter earlier. I am really tempted to give it a try since I may have to travel for more than a month out of the country. So maybe I will do that. I will keep you guys posted on that.
