I just wanted to say hello to all of the June N-400 filers. Some of the names I recognize from previous threads- it's been a long 4 years since I first joined Visa Journey trying to navigate our way through the various paperwork needed for our family to be together. We're finally at the final hurdle- naturalization. After the stress of removing conditions, this is almost anti-climatic. (almost!) Good luck to all of you!

I am posting off my N-400 tomorrow...do you think this will be enough evidence? Here is everything I am sending off:

Hi KikiDoug - I think your list of evidence looks great. That's a very similar package to what we sent in also, it's not clear to me how much evidence we're supposed to provide of the marriage being ongoing. I'm guessing that when we get to interview, its better to be over-prepared than under-prepared... so I plan to take boatloads of stuff just in case, and hopefully we won't need any of it :D

I'm sure a few more people will join in too as we go through the next few months and they find this thread... Seems like we don't have as many people as some of the other months, I don't know if that's representative of the 'whole country', but maybe its just my perception. I wondered because its vacation season, if not as many people would apply right now, knowing they have to stick around to get letters/attend appointments...

Filed my N-400 on 6/23/09. Received the confirmation from USPS on 6/23/09. Received my NOA today (6/30/2009). Waiting for the biometrics appointment letter.... :)

Hi,

had my biometrics done today. I was let in the building at 8:30 (my appt. was 9:00), filled out the worksheet, received the study booklet + CD and the fingerprints were done in less than 10 minutes. I was out of the ASC at ca. 9:15. The quickest process of fingerprinting ever. :star:

Let's hope the interview goes equally smooth! :thumbs:

Hello,

It has been 8 days since I priority-mailed my application to Arizona and the check has yet to be cashed. They received it on 26th of June.

Is that normal?

I am now a US citizen.

I think you should wait a few more days, since they've only had the package for 7 days including today, and 2 of those days was a weekend, and now tomorrow will be a vacation day, so I think to wait until the end of next week would be prudent, you may even get your NOA in the mail first before the check. They'll try electronic withdrawal first, and if the bank doesn't like that, then you have to wait for the actual paper check to clear...

Just wanted to give a headsup to those who have biometrics on the 6th-10th (think there are 3 of the Juners), USCIS has said they may have 'overbooked' so some people are getting canceled (you can see the threads in the I-751 and AOS forums).

Application Support Center Appointment Rescheduling - July 6 - 10, 2009

System errors caused a number of Application Support Centers to be overscheduled during the week of July 6-10, 2009. As a result, some applicants may receive cancellation notices for appointments originally scheduled during this timeframe.

If you do not receive a cancellation notice, please appear at your ASC appointment as scheduled. If you do receive a cancellation notice, you will soon receive an ASC appointment notice for a new date and time, typically for an appointment within the next two to four weeks.

My Appointment was for July 7th , I guess I did the right thing and got it done next day I received it by Walk-in (FP done on June 23rd)

Also I called the FBI help line yesterday, my FP report was sent back on 24th June.
