All the hue and cry for nothing! Today, to my delight, I had a letter from USCIS waiting for me in the mailbox. The Blue logo put a smile on my face as I knew that it meant only one thing. The long awaited interview letter. And there it was. Got a date for July 21st, 2009. This proves how incompetent the USCIS database and its customer service is. Two days ago I called CRIS like 5 times in a day, and each officer had a different story to tell me. Since my calls were always escalated to a higher level, even they didn't know that an interview letter has been distached a week before. They all gave me the BullS*** story of delays cause of background checks and opening in local field office. To all those who are eagerly awaiting their interviews, hang on and dont stress yourselves by calling USCIS. They know nothing. Best of luck to all and please pray for me.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Christera22, bantam, trillium13, Septembergold! Thank You All for your support.

Bantam, you were right, I did panic unnecessarily :dancing:

Trillium13, Just pray I am able to change my status to approved like yours :innocent:

Christera22, My prayers are with you. I know you still are waiting for your interview letter. I am sure yours is on the way. I have two months to prepare for the evidence. I guess, it can all be done in a weeks time since most of the documents required are already with me. I will try not to overdo it though. For the I-130 all i need is our baby's sonogram :energy: ...that should be enough evidence for a bonafide relationship. We do have an album with wedding pictures and pictures taken on other occassions. The rest of the documents, such as joint utilities, phone bills, my wife's pay stubs and joint taxes filed for 2009, bank account statements, i'll gather on the last week. I am more concerned about the intention part. Have to ask my brother back home to send me documents of property, equity holdings and bank accounts from pakistan, Credit card bills from Pakistan that i still use here, that can establish my intentions of going back. I left everything as it is. We dont have a lease for this house that we rent since the owner is from Pakistan and my wife has been living here for 8 years. They never had a lease. But i guess, my problem is not the relationship but the intention.
