Many airlines want the name on your ticket to be te same as the name on your passport. It's probably best to book the ticket in your maiden name and bring your marriage certificate to show the US border patrol folks along with your AP.

I'm terribly sorry for your loss. My Mom died three years ago. Stay strong and don't be afraid to lean on your spouse. You'll never stop missing your mom but in time it won't hurt so much.

I'm so sorry (F) I know how you feel. I lost my mom last July, so the first year is coming up. Glad you're going home. Use the name you have in your passport as your ticket needs to match. Just make sure your marriage certificate and your AP are with you...

Hello, guys! In behalf of my family we would like to thank you all for all your condolences and prayers for my mom. Your prayers help us a lot to be strong in this crucial time of our life. I will always miss my mom , but for sure in God`s time He will heal us. This community has been my strength during the time of confusion when I heard my mom`s accident. That time I was not sure if I can go home here in the Philippines your advices and words of wisdom became my guiding light . I don`t want to question God why this happen because everything happens for a reason and I can`t contradict His will. I am praying to God for more strength especially now that I will be going back to U.S . I will be home alone again when my husband is in work . I hope and pray that I can overcome all the loneliness of losing a mom.

Please also pray for my safe travel back home on June 18, via NWA.

Until here and God bless us all!

Sincerely,

Netscot

Good day! I just talked to my sisters in the philippines and my mom pass away this morning( US Time). She didn`t respond anymore in the medicine and she didnt make it.

Please include my mom in your prayers for the Eternal Repose of her soul.

What is my option now? Do I have options. I am so depressed because of this. Can I go home even I don`t have advance parole? I don`t know what to do right now?

Thank u so much and God bless us all!

Love,

Netscot

First I am sorry for your loss,

I had a similiar situation a few years ago,,, Infopass just started and I did not know about it. So,, I went to the San Antonio, Tx office.. Used to be first come first serve... They said,, I needed to do infopass and would take a week or two. I called my Senators office. From the parking lot of the INS office. She said, stay put. In less then 15 minutes someone from immigration escorted us upstairs, issued the proper stamp and,,, off we went. Bottom line,,, the Senators office has private numbers and can work around the red tape if they choose to... The lady that took my call,, said, 'You do not seem like you are trying to curcumvent the system. sometimes things just happen"...

My story,,, hope it helps.

Good day to everyone! I am finally back here in USA last June 18 via NWA, my re-entry was smooth they just stamped my parole and let me go.

Looking back in this posts I did during the times of my grief. It makes me think again the loss of my mom and misses her a lot but this VJ Community became my strength. I feel all the prayers and the sense of belongingness.

Thank you for all the comforting words you sent. I feel the true spirit of camaraderie in this community. I may not know you personally but I want to let you know that I appreciate all of you, you`re in my prayers and may God rewards you with all the goodness on earth.

Now that I am back here in USA , I am still struggling for my mom`s loss . I am coping up day by day that I may accept all things happen to her. It`s hard to cope especially being alone here everyday no friends to go. Friends online helps but still different if there is a friend in person nearby. As if I am adjusting all over again but I am praying that I may see the blessings out of this tragic moment. With God I know I will be okay and will accept things gradually!

Long life and good health for those who still have parents. Love and honor them because life is too short. We may never know how long we can have them on earth. Life is just passing!

Until here and May God be with you all!

I lost my mom three years ago. I remember how lost I felt at first. It does get easier, I promise. You'll never stop missing her but in time it won't hurt as much.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Edit: I noticed that I'm repeating myself. Oh well, some things are worth saying twice.
