06/2008 : I-130 Approved but still pending for I-485

06/2008 : made an info-pass (1st time), They said " I gonna get green card in 3 months)

09/2008 : made an info-pass again (2nd times), They said " they can not help I have to wait"

11/2008 : renew work permit card ( because the one was expire)

01/2009 : made an info-pass agian (3rd times) " same answer I have to wait"

02/2009 : got my second work permit card

03/2009 : made an info-pass agian (4th times) " same answer I have to wait"

04/2009: met congressman for help.

Now : still waiting for nothing

Okay, Is anyone has a same experience as me? I don't know what's wrong with my case. I never been out of status or do anything unlawful. I was an F-1, then married with U.S. citizen. When I was interview the officer said " my case looks okay, everything gonna be fine . He just needed to see my transcripts for every school that I took.

I sent everything out since 05/2008. But now I still got nothing. I asked for help from congressman and I just got a call from them that, the USCIS said they can check status of my case after 05/25/2009. When the congressman get answer from the USCIS, they will call and mail me immediately.

Does anyone have any ideas how to do with my case???

It seems to me that people that AOS from visa's that are not normally used for that purpose (like student vs K-1), they seem to have lengthy delays.

Not all of them, but enough to wonder what is going on.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
