well i figure its because there have been so few approvals in the past couple weeks

they are probably sending out a general email to remind ppl to update their timelines in case that's the reason we're not seeing any approvals

I864 delivered November 2nd.....nvc logged it on November 5th

DS230 delivered November 6th.....nvc logged it on November 12th

Welcome to US Letter May 19th

I got that email too! Automated system reminder. I would not read anything sinister into it.

That information you can enter in your 'signature' and it will show when you post. Go to My Controls and on the left side look under Personal Profile and click on Edit Signature. Enter anything you want here and it will show as your signature automatically.

(Boy, I'm slow, lol, I see someone already told you how. Sorry I am giddy today and need sleep.)

Timeline

We had nearly 5 times the number of people compared to a regular day update their timeline within 24 hours of that going out. In the next day or so we will likely get more I hope. You are right when you say it was automated -- we send something similar out every six months :). I also sent out an email to new members in the last two months that points them to the VJ "Features Page" so they may learn about VJ features they may not be using or have seen before. :)

Generally speaking any "mass email" like this is only sent out a few times a year. With the sudden slow downs at the CSC I wanted to make sure though that we were as up to date with information in the system as possible. For more frequent updates from VJ on immigration and site topics you can also join the VJ Twitter stream @ http://twitter.com/visajourney.

The stuff you see on the replies is actually the signature. Go to My controls on the upper right then go to edit signature in the left hand column and put in whatever you like. :star:

Thank you...................... i had a feeling it was something simple just i was over thinking the process.............
