I was surprised to get an e-mail from VisaJourney reminding me to update my timeline. Is that because it has been a long time since I updated it, or does it go out periodically to everyone ?

My timeline is up to date, I just have nothing to report because we are caught somewhere in the Black Hole of Endless Nothingness and Eternal Darkness and Despair. (AKA Vermont Service Center) :crying:

Just kidding about the knife twisting thing.

Yea, I got it too. :bonk: Nothing to update so maybe I will just add a nice note, lol. Maybe it's new and will make those who haven't updated theirs in a long time, do so, to make the Igor's list more accurate. :time: Just trying to find something positive in it, lol. :goofy:

Yup we both had it too. Strange considering that I filled in some of the blanks of our time line not two weeks ago.

Currently stuck between submission of packet 3 to the UK embassy and waiting for an interview date.

The waiting is driving me nuts ! and doing anything and everything to keep my mind off it. Strangely reading VJ and scanning others time lines isn't helping, in fact I think its making matters worse :P

I Don't suppose anyone knows what kind notice period that the UK embassy gives for the interview ? e.g. a week or a month ? Just so I have a plan for booking a day off work * or booking flexi time :) * for when the big day comes.

I think it is a standard email, I got it as well, my timeline hasn't changed. I'm with Sheri and Matt, the blackhole of nothingness..........

one thing I did notice, although I haven't checked today, both California and Vermont, neither site updated or no-one in either service center got approved last week.

i got the email as well, even though my timeline is completed, as far as the K1 goes.

I'm guessing its a standard email due to the fact that there haven't been any/many updated NOA2s for a long time.

Hopefully that email reminder will jog the memory of those that dont log in regularly or those that dont come back after NOA2 or Visa received. An updated timeline will give more acurate stats to those that are still in the process.

Thanks VJ Team

The stuff you see on the replies is actually the signature. Go to My controls on the upper right then go to edit signature in the left hand column and put in whatever you like. :star:
