And your right, it's passenger only. You can get the Black Ball, but it goes to Port Angeles. You basically catch it around the same area as the Clipper, down by Victoria's harbour!

Oh cool. We had planned on returning to WA a day or two early so we could do some sightseeing. This might be a nice way to do that. Thank you. :)

You're very welcome! Enjoy your holiday when you go!! Have you been to Victoria before? One of my favourite cities. I tell everyone to go there!! LOL. I read in a magazine a few years back that Vancouver Island was in the top ten Islands for vacations. Kinda cool. You'll love Seattle too!! I've never been able to stay and tour too much as I'm usually in transit. But one of these days!!

And because we ate Canadians people are not sensitive to what we go through.

I think my husband is pretty sensitive now.

I haven't been to Victoria before! It's funny, too, because I've been to BC almost every year for the past 30 years (and lived there for a short period of time, also), and every time I'm there I say "I really should get to the island."

I've never been to Seattle, either, though I have visited a few areas in WA on my visits. (My relatives had a cabin in Bellingham.) OMG! I just realized I can stop at Algers Tavern, on the outskirts of Bellingham, for their chicken and jo-jo's!!! :o:dance: Have you been there? It's a grotty little pub but, OMG, the chicken. *slurp*

I have been to Bellingham, spent the night there once - drove to Seattle from Spokane (had been visiting relatives there). Wanted to stay in Seattle overnight but there were NO hotel rooms to be had - so drove up to Bellingham. Funny, to this day I still think of it as a spooky place. I think it's because it was very late when we arrived and of course it's a quiet little place and having no idea where we were we drove around and it's all dark and quiet oooooo.

We visited the U.S. a lot, when I was a child - like most Canadians - and I never really noticed a difference until that trip. Sitting in an IHOP late at night (in Spokane), looking across the street at a Safeway and there was a guard outside the door with a gun and a pitbull.
