What if you get unemployed during the process of K-1 visa?

Hello folks,

What are other ways to show support of your fiance in case you lose your job during the K-1 visa process? As far as what are the requirements financially by other means to support him. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Thanks for the link as its very helpful. Usually if you don't need a sponsor and you are currently working than a letter from the employer stating your salary and position is suffice along with the tax documents from past 3 years is that correct.

letter from employer

a few recent pay stubs to back up the letter because it shows that you are still working there

current income tax return

and 3 years of tax returns transcripts to show your salary/working pattern.
