1-131 darn forms are doing my head in.

Well I am working my way through all the forms and I thought I was doing so very well reading all the guides and the example forms but now I've reached Advance Parole and the smallest form is baffling me so much I'm sure I'm gonna screw it up.

So I'm reading it and I see it says if you're doing advance parole (this bit in part 3) then skip to 7. So I don't have to do the specify why you're going bit or the where you want it sent bit? On the example form o here they've ticked some boxes.

And I don't have a definite date for travel just around November this year so I've just put November 2006 and multiple trips. Will that do?

Now I'm not totally sure what to put in the "covering letter".

I just wish to visit my family and friends before I get the GC. Especially my grandad who is due to have some pretty major surgery.

Is it being just a few lines long OK then? Will visiting my family be a satisfactory reason or should I say something else? Darn darn forms.

And now reading an SSN post I've just realised as of monday I have just 16 days left before the 1-94 expires so I have to hope they will accept my name change form and not cause problems on that. Man everything is so darn busy. Only been married a week and a half and it's crazy!

I did sucessfully open a bank account today though on my own which I was very proud of. It was weird signing my new surname. It was the first time I'd had to do it actually.

So yes if anyone can help me on those questions so I can get the damn package mailed out and stop stressing about it all that would be great.
