Hello All,

We plan to start our visa journey in June 2009 after I return from Japan, where we will be married at a local municipal office in Tokyo.

Upon my return to the U.S., I'd like to have the I130 and all supporting forms ready for immediate submission for the IR-1/CR-1 process.

One thing that has me concerned is the expiration date on the G-325 form is listed as 05/31/09, just a couple days from now.

I intend to submit the forms later in June; should I wait for USCIS to come out with a new version of G-325, or is there some official word about using a G-325 past its expiration date (which is visible in the upper right corner of page 1 of the form)?

Thanks for your help

Hmmmm previous editions are being accepted NOW, but will they be after 5/31? We don't know what changes they may make on 5/31...

I would call USCIS and ask if I were you. Doesn't cost you anything but couple minutes of your time, and it will give you a peace of mind.

Good luck!

I think they will accept it,for my naturalization in 2008,I used a form expired in 2007 and didnt have any problem.

Knowing that its USCIS,they might not even put the new version in a month of so,as they always take forever to do every thing .They should have posted one ahead of time, this one already expired, but it is still on there website. So,dont worry...

thats not a big deal u know :)

simply by the time u are going to do it ..look at USCIS under IMMIGRATION FORMS section

and find the version thts there ...fill it and submit it ...if theres any new one they would replace it at once ..if none so for sure they will accept the previous versions :)

Good Luck
