My wife got a email from cris that said her 10 yr green card was sent to production.

So do we have to wait other 10 weeks?

so we go ahead and make a info pass appointment?

Thanks for the info. I was getting worried about the GC. Got approved on April 24, 2009, so I am waiting since over 5 weeks for the card.

i just received a notice in the mail about my service enquiry i made about my card by calling the uscis---i was approved on april 27th---the notice came from laguna california---it says my case was approved and now my card production is pending-----i now that already----i would like the card and not another piece of paper---it says 60 days---

hey guys

i was approved april 27th, still waiting for 10 yr card---recieved mail on may 27th stating that my card was pending card production---this was after i did a service enquiry about my card---

i wonder how long before we recieve our cards---i know there is a 8 week delay, worse case scenario i hope------but wouldnt it be nice if they finished the upgrade of their systems in the next few days---that would be awesome wouldnt it---i mean how long can it take to fix or upgrade a computer system---2 weeks maybe 3??

wouldnt it be nice if the cards staring rolling out in the next week or so---cause im sure if the system is done upgrading they will come thick and fast

My husband went on his InfoPass today to get his Passport stamped. He is now on his way to the DMV in the same city as the InfoPass appointment, because he doesn't want to wait anylonger to renew his license adn California will not renew it without the stamp or the green card.

"Due to computer upgrades in our system there will be a delay of 8 weeks for approval of all emergency heart surgeries added to the normal 60 day waiting period"

After all the money and stress for the past 3 years trying to get a permanent green card if this health care thing passes we will probably move back to Japan.

Hey everyone. My wife got her AOS approved on April 30th and we have yet to recieve any welcome letter or notice about her green card. It is just damn frustrating.

.....Hang in there everyone! We don't want anyone having a heart attack while waiting for their green cards....

(lol..though I came close during my long wait....ended up in the emergency room a few times...that's another story...)
