8 months, 26 days from the time I turned in the I-129f. Jovylyn ask me to explain the entry procedure, I was doing fine until she ask me "Where do I get the I-94"

I have tried to search but there are thousands of posts about the I-94, I just can not seem to be able to find one that tells when and where we actually get it.

If it matters our POE in Detroit.

You get it when you come into the country - usually the airline gives it to you.

CBP I-94

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

The flight attendants will give it to her after she boards the plane and she will have to fill it up. She will present that to the immigration officer when she arrives in her POE together with the sealed envelope she received from the embassy and her passport.

It is a sheet of paper that the flight attendant give to you when you're close to your PORT of ENTRY already. It is very important because that will determine your stay in the US and you will surrender that when you're going out of the US. It is only given to nonimmigrant visa holders (as far as I know).

What does your husband think about that

I imagine Greg thinks the same thing that the rest of us think...your childish attempts to get negative attention make you feel better about yourself.
