Hey everyone, I finally got the first NOA! I was sure I was going to have to wait until after the 4th of July to get this letter!!! I speed home every night from O'hare airport back to Indiana to check the mail and have been disappointed for 2-3 weeks in a row, but TODAY was like no other!!!!!!!!!

This is the application process where they want evidence of our relationship/marriage, right? I don't really have any evidence other than phone records, both cell phone and home phone. There was an opportuity for me to take a trip to Morocco, but I saved that money and used it for a ticket to take my 12 year old daughter to morocco for the wedding. I wanted to know if I shouled send in a copy of her tickets and birth certificate as supportive evidence for not going to morocco previously?

Is it that serious? What do you all think about that?

I still can not believe it!!!!

We are so happy!!!!!!!!

pleeeeeeeeeeaase let me know what your opinions are, ok?

THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Pray with me Forrest! Dear God, make me a bird so I can fly far. Far, far away from here..... Dear God, make me a bird so I can fly far. Far, far away from here!

Congrats on getting your NOA1...Am a lil confused what petition are you filing for? Is it for the k-3 visa where you submitted your I-130? If so, then all you need to submit is your marriage certificate and a copy of your NOA1 along with your I-129f but please remember to refer to the guides on here for more detailed information as well as USCIS website for the latest forms. Good luck on your journey and God Bless!

Thank You all for responding. I did the same thing with the I-130, I read the guides till I was cross-eyed. I was so sure that I had made a mistake or forgot to put the dates on something. You are correct, they are pretty simple, I guess I feel a little comfort in talking to you all here. Not guess, I know I do. We are all related here in an indirect sorta way, and I've heard people referm to us as VJ family. That is very refreshing to know there are people that aren't judging the decisions we've made to marry outside of our country. I must say, even though I don't post here daily, I read the posts of other people, sometimes the hardest thing for me to do is read about someone elses interview or about the trip here/home...... Thats what motivates me to keep going, and of course the fact that I love my husband so, so, so, so much!!!!

Again thank everyone here for the support. I know we still have a long way to go.

You make it possible for me to know that I will be with my husband soon.

Do I really have to do a cover letter for the I-129F?

Kisses N' Hugs to everyone out there in VJ land!!!!!!!!!!!!
