The Journey is Finally over!!

Well I am happy to say after a long journey my wife is now a U.S. Citizen.. The interview was yesterday in the Atlanta office and it went very well, took about 15 minutes. The IO did not even ask for anything (we had brought Tax receipts, bank statements, marriage certificate, pictures, etc...) The interview was at 9:25 AM, we got there at 9 and the interview was at 10:14. Lucky for us Atlanta is one of the few field offices where the oath ceremony is on the same day. So we came back at 2 and the ceremony ended at 3 and she is now a U.S. Citizen. Next step is to get her Social Security status changed and apply for a U.S. Passport.

I want to thank all of you for your help and guidance through these 3 years and I wish everyone the best of luck with their citizenship journey!!!

Ha, wonder if my wife is more of a USC than your wife, as my IO dragged her through the coals. Don't think so, but good luck is getting a decent IO. Sounds like your wife had good luck. Now about winning the lottery? My wife isn't lucky there either, but I won a buck last week, well not really, the ticket cost me a buck.
