my interview is set on Thursday, Aug 20, 2009. Wish me luck. I've gathered all the necessary things my husband and I would need. I'm even considering taking the wedding album even though it is quite heavy. My 11 mos old son will be with us on the day of the interview. I hope it will go smoothly. I know God is great.

This may be random, but you should look into skype! We pay $3/month for unlimited long distance! I think it's slightly more for unlimited world wide but not that much!!!

Thanks for the suggestion. I had looked into almost everything when he was still in Guatemala, and for that particular country the cheapest thing we could find was Jajah service at 14.7 cents per minute. Guatemala is unfortunately one of those countries that's a little more expensive to call

I'd bring a few great family photos from the album. With a 11-month old I'm sure you got plenty to carry around.

Tell me... do you or your husband wear your wedding band? Will you plan on wearing it for the interview?

Neither my wife or I wear it and I'm a little scared of not wearing the day of the interview, but at the same time my finger doesn't show the ring mark so anybody can tell.

You've come along way. Best of luck and we expect a full detailed report w/ everything you saw/heard and smelled! Mmm... maybe not smell. You got a baby

Thanks guy for all the comments. My wife and I will discuss tonight the best course of action though her mind is already made up for cutting a $1,400.00 check. "We can always make the money again"... I love her spirit

I have already sent another letter to NBC asking them to consolidate, again.

I've also sent out my I-765 for the EAD since it looks like I'm a long way from getting a GC.

It sucks that most people already have their EAD and I'm just sending my form out

I just got a second email saying that my EAD card production has been ordered as of yesterday. I also got another touch today.

I wonder what the duplication emails mean. They seem pretty common.

Jumping in here Our AOS interview is on 9/2 and we'll be wearing our wedding rings. I wouldn't want to give USCIS anything to look at. Seems like something they'd notice.

On the tuesday Wednesday duplicate card production email on ead with new date 13 th friday arrives in mail Monday 7 days after first approved ead in mail tuesday email notice fir approval sent for ead. Would worry too much on the duplicate emails just know it will be with you soon

basically yeh, I know it can take longer or shorter but thought it would be helpful to share seen as I had multiple emails too
