I still haven't received my EAD. I got two card production emails, one on July 28th and the other on July 31st. It is now August 12th and nothing in the mail yet. Not even my appointment date for my interview. I am getting a tad bit frustrated.

I am in the same situation.They sent me 3 e-mails about the EAD but nothing in the mail yet.I didn't get an interview letter either and I see a lot of people with similar timelines gat either the GC or the interview letter already.I know how you feel but try to stay positive and hope for good news soon.Good Luck to all of us who are still waiting!

Subguy, I hear you!! I went through a complete nightmare myself when I was doing the medical exam. Not only did it cost me $700 bucks, but the place was the shadiest dump I have ever been to in my life (let alone a "medical center"!)! All the clientele consisted of homeless people and drug addicts, and I actually got a skin rash AFTER visiting the place! SCARY! Yeah, if you're a healthy person when you get there, they make sure you're not when you leave! :wacko:

And that wasn't all - after going back there several times because they were out of the TB test and the various vaccines, they finally said they were ready to sign off, and then it turned out the doctor had FALLEN OFF the USCIS approved physician list!! I couldn't believe it! So they sent me to another medical center, where they decided I need 2 extra vaccines and extorted me for additional money. The weirdest thing was the nurse took my money in the back room, without providing a receipt! Afterwards it occurred to me she probably pocketed the cash for herself! Absolutely insane, horrible process! :bonk:

Man what a nightmare!

Similar story here. Only I already received my AP and EAD a couple of days ago, and still did not get an interview letter. I am noticing that others are getting theirs right after e-mail approval notices. I have an actual AP and EAD on hand already, and no sign of interview letter. My days now revolve around mail delivery time. :crying:

My EAD has been ordered! Things are moving along nicely for us.

Just waiting for September 8th now!

We mailed our package on June 9th 2009.

NOA notice date: June 17th

I-130 and I-765 touched: July 1st (but not I-130)

Biometrics: July 9th CANCELLED

Biometrics: July 18th completed

I-485 & I-765 touched: July 20th & 21st

Received interview notice: August 8th

EAD production ordered: August 12th

EAD CARD received: August 17th

EAD Approval notice sent: August 17th

INTERVIEW: SEPTEMBER 8TH

You got your interview date before the EAD approval...? That's weird...by the time you'll receive it is going to be useless since you'll have your GC soon after...But they have to keep themselves busy with something...

It seems like everyone receives multiple emails about approval of EAD,AP...we received them even after we received the actual documents

I'm not going to complain as long as I get a GC I'm going to be happy.

At least my $1400 is being spent wisely!

congrats everybody on your progress. we received the EAD card today. it kind of looks like a driver's license. the only thing left is the interview on the 21st!

this is how everything went:

#1 AOS Appointment letter

#2 EAD/AP emails (got 3 EAD emails- 2 card production ordered/ 1 approval email)

#3 AP in the mail

#4 EAD in the mail

Got my GC today. Thank you all for your support. I'm so humbled, what a journey!

No interview date today...

I have a question. I noticed that a lot of people called USCIS and discussed their issued over the phone with someone. What number were you using and how did you get to a human being? I call 1-800 number and cannot figure out how to reach someone to ask a question. And also, is there a way to call your local office directly? - they are the ones setting interview dates, right?!
