We just received the NOA letter with our AOS interview date: 9/2. :)

Congrats!! So when you get your interview date there is no email just a letter?

We didn't get an email. There is no update on CRIs. We just received the NOA letter in the mail. It has the interview time and date and a HUGE list of what to bring to the interview.

Koakland - Congratulations!! That's all I got too - a letter mailed by their local field office with an interview date and a long list of stuff to bring. There was no touch or email of any sort. It just comes out of the blue (and for me it arrived on the same day I got approved for EAD and AP!)

Congrats to all the others on the great news! Subguy - sorry to hear about the RFE. Hopefully it'll be something minor and you'll be back on track in no time. Keep us posted.

Same here, I got my interview letter a few days ago. There was no prior email notification, as matter of fact; my AOS hadn’t been touched since June 16th. For a moment the no-touches had me extremely anxious and irritable. Now that I’ve received my interview notice, I shake my fist at CRIS for the indirect unnecessary stress and worry…oh and for molding me into an online stalker. I kept vigil and stalked uscis.gov for u update :whistle: . Ya, so shame on them for almost making me lose my sanity, :yes:

Anyway, congrats to all on their good news! Subguy I’m sorry about your RFE. Hopefully it is something simple and you can get back on track soon. To those who are awaiting EADs or interview letter, be encourage, it will come through soon enough.

Hello everybody,

We got our interview date September 8th.

We have had no emails nor touches just the letter in the mail.

Congrats to everyone getting their gc's, eads, ap's interview dates etc!

We mailed our package on June 9th 2009.

NOA notice date: June 17th

I-130 and I-765 touched: July 1st (but not I-130)

Biometrics: July 9th CANCELLED

Biometrics: July 18th completed

I-485 & I-765 touched: July 20th & 21st

Received interview notice: August 8th

EAD production ordered: August 12th

EAD CARD received: August 17th

EAD Approval notice sent: August 17th

INTERVIEW: SEPTEMBER 8TH

how quirky :) you married the day before us and did biometrics day before me too! Only difference is I file aos a week or two before. I think they are taking their time on mine :( late biometrics and while everyone else has ead and ap from filing near June 18 th I am still waiting :( . Did you file ap too? Has it been touched at all? Mine hasn't yet just the obligatory ead and i485 the day after biometrics.

In a few days you will receive another email saying that the EAD was approved and mailed to you.

12/13/07: Met for the first time

1/4/08: Began dating

1/18/09: Got engaged

5/26/09: Holy matrimony

6/3/09: I-130 & AOS sent via FedEx Express Saver

6/5/09: Package received by USCIS Office - signed by A. Ainalakis

6/11/09: Checks for I-130 and I-485 cashed

Wow, lots going on since I last checked! I had to read like 5 pages to catch up :wacko:

Sorry about the RFE, hopefully it will be something easy to take care of. However, I didn't know it was possible to get an RFE after having EAD & AP approved. That makes me kind of worried :unsure: I already had a RFE before and if they don't accept it, they don't send out another RFE...just deny the AOS! Or so I've read...hopefully we will all be past this step soon!

We filed for AP, and so far that hasn't been touched, just the EAD and the I485. I wonder if that's the usual?
