Congratulations to everyone who has reported good news today!

It seems as if a lot of people are making good progress and some have even finished!

As to us, I felt very uncomfortable with the fact that the customer service agent this morning requested a reschedule, so I called again this afternoon. This time the first agent was very understanding and she quickly bumped me up to a supervisor. He canceled the reschedule request (I hope) and suggested we make an infopass appointment to speak to someone in the local office regarding this. Much to my amazement, there were info pass appointments available as early as this afternoon! We made an appointment for tomorrow morning.

So, instead of making a 2 minute phone call to the local office to resolve this we will drive 3 hours but hopefully by this time tomorrow we will have everything straightened out. :goofy:

Good Luck with your info pass I am sure they will get it straight for you!

SUUURE rub it in the faces of all of us still waiting ..... hahahaha no just kidding congrats

I have the same timeline as u .Still waiting and nothing....Is it possible to get someting in the mail without an e-mail notice?I guess I'm hoping too much.. :)

It happens all of the time....nothing in email, the website is not updated, then you receive a letter in the mail.

Everyone just want to say thanks for all your support. I am confused about one thing. We got our interview letter. It has a checklist of documents to bring to the interview. One of them is the I-693 (unless already submitted). I sent the DS-2025 & 2026 with the AOS packet and never received an RFE. Do I need to go ahead and get the I-693?

I have no idea what DS-2025/2026 are .From my understanding they need to have your Vaccination record and a Physical Exam done within the last year.do they have that?

Sorry, I was in a hurry. I sent the DS 3025 & 3026 they are the medical records including vaccination the civil surgeon gave my husband in Bosnia June 2008 at his medical. Our medical is still valid, just wondering if I need to take an I-693 to the interview.

Did the interview letter say you needed it unless already submitted? I wasn't clear from your post if you already submitted it?

I read your post again! This is a somewhat gray area. Some have sent only the DS 3025 & 3026 and never received an RFE and never have issues at the interview. But this has not been the case with all. I really do not want to give you an incorrect answer. Search these forums and get a feeling for what you should do based on others, but it appears not all cases are the same.

Congratulations to everyone on the good news of approvals and interview appointments!! :star:

Shefellfromheaven - Your kind wishes and prayers for your fellow forum members have been returned tenfold to you - congratulations on a speedy and painless approval!

As for me, I got the EAD in the mail the other day and am now awaiting the interview. On an unrelated note, yesterday I had a bit of a fright - there was a 6.9 earthquake in Mexico which we felt in San Diego, particularly strongly in my office on the 22nd floor. The building literally rocked slowly back and forth like a boat in rough seas for 10 or more minutes straight. We ran down the 22 flights of stairs to evacuate - it took forever to get down. I have been through many quakes before, but this one really scared me. I thought that was it.

Glad to be back online today (hopefully there'll be no aftershocks...)

I love San Diego but not earthquakes..I am glad you are fine.
