I can totally understand how nostalgic it is when you think about family,and friends back home.I totally relate to that and it hurts so bad when you have a daughter you have not seen in almost three years.I cry most of the time i talk with my daughter and cant wait for the day that i will hold her in my arms and just cry.To think that she is all grown up(she is 12years old),tall and very athletic and dont get to see all the changes in her life.

My hubby and i are planning a trip to Cameroon for Christmax and boy the fare for two is just too much,i hope that we make it.

On the other hand,something positive has come out of it,she is in a private school,has evrything that a girl her age would want and doing very well in school.She even loves physics hahahhah,well,never mind.

Anyways,i received my work permit today and my picture on it doesnt look as bad as i thought it would be.

I see alot of people have received interview dates,congratulations and to those with transfer,,,wooh hooo.

Waiting for interview on the 28 of this month,,,,,

Balvino misses his family but is content to wait until next year to visit. I think we should go sooner but we will see what happens with work and school. Balvino is excited to start his own life and we did live in Nicaragua for 5 months while waiting for our K-1.

We will hopefully be able to go back to Guatemala at Christmas (since I get 2 weeks) but it will really depend on Josue's work schedule.

I am thinking that once Balvino experiences a New England winter he may want to head to Nicaragua for Christmas.

The interview went well. Thank you for remembering. They are going to make a decision next week. It is a very good school so all my urban teaching experience does not impress them but the position requires experience with Ceramics, which I love. It will only be for 8 or 10 weeks but I really do not want to wait untill the last minute with the job search. I will keep you posted.

I just did my biometrics ( finally!). They made me remove my eyebrow piercing for the picture. I just realized that the pictures I sent with my package are with the piercing. I hope that I won't get a RFE because of that....but who knows .

Thanks Winifredbee for your kind words and concern.Its hard tobe away from her but the good thing is that she knows that her mama is happy,healthy and working hard to make a better future for her.

According to the email i received from them,it states that the aproval was made on the 19th of July and the card was mailed on the 27th .

Am so excited to have a photo ID eventhough it is not needed right away as i will be a full time student come sept.

Thanks for all the well wishes, prayers, and amens because I received the emails today regarding my AP and EAD. Both are approved and hopefully in the mail. The emails came in at 1:45 this afternoon. Happy Monday!! Just when I was getting worried. Thanks for all the support. Off to the spread sheet...

i have an noa1 date for the day after you, i know how you feel, i even had to file a service request because after 30 days they forgot to send me a biometrics appointment, they set it last week but i did it on thursday two weeks early that i was ment in a walk in, got a touch on the day after which seems normal looking at others but not heard much else. was hoping my ap was coming soon and ead too.
