Congrats, DaveChels!!

(Yeah, I noticed they often send notifications around 7pm PT / 10 pm ET. I think they probably gather all approvals for the day and email notices to everyone at the end of the day. That may even be done by one of their contractors.)

That makes a lot of sense, I've never thought about it.

GNS, congratulations!

Yes, and don't forget that they're based in Cali, it's pacific time zone, so it's not that late at night as it seems to us  .

Congrats to all for the good news! Nothing for me...I hope to get update after the biometrics on Saturday.

My theory is that they probably process files during the day and then once the work day is over, they run a report in their system that sends out the notices to emails. I doubt they send them out manually. It's most likely just all automated by the CRIS system.

That makes sense, but I wonder why some get their's during the day and others in the evening.

They probably run the update report in their system a couple of times a day. Or it might just automatically update every few hours... who knows... but my bet is that it's all automated.

At least it's working for me this time - my K-1 still says "Case received and pending" lol!

I wish more stuff was automated, maybe then this wouldn't be such a horrible waiting game.

Thankfully, overall things have been proceeding fairly expeditiously for everyone here. Hopefully, it'll keep up the pace.

I'm pretty stoked to have an interview lined up only 2.5 months after filing! When I told that to a friend of mine who married a Morrocan guy a few years ago, she was stunned - she said they waited 2 years for the interview! The poor guy's dad passed away back in Morocco in the meantime, and he couldn't go back. Crazy stuff.

It seems like there are a group of people each month that move quickly and others that move slow.

I think I've moved into the slow group :(

Come on....you are not in the slow group. Just because you don't see any touches doesn't mean they ain't working on your case.

Hold tight coz your approvals are yet to come....and trust me on this one.

Well technically you're still within processing times... I wouldn't say it's been slow! You will probably get your EAD any day now! Going early for the biometrics doesn't really speed things along :) Keep positive!

I made an official inquiry today with customer service regarding Bella's missing interview appointment letter. They still said it was probably in the mail but they would make an inquiry and respond by Aug 30th, a week after the kids interview appointments.
