(Yeah, I noticed they often send notifications around 7pm PT / 10 pm ET. I think they probably gather all approvals for the day and email notices to everyone at the end of the day. That may even be done by one of their contractors.)

Does anyone know why USCIS sends two separate CRIS email including same content? I received a CRIS email on 7/24 stating they ordered production of EAD card then same email on 7/29?

That happened to me too. And I've had several EAD touches several days AFTER the email notifying me that the EAD was sent to me.

I've had an email from CRIS...word for word the same transfer letter they sent me on July 17 to say we were being transferred. Anyone else have this happen?

Also the website shows a touch on the EAD as well ad the 458. Still nothing on the AP case number.

That makes a lot of sense, I've never thought about it.

My theory is that they probably process files during the day and then once the work day is over, they run a report in their system that sends out the notices to emails. I doubt they send them out manually. It's most likely just all automated by the CRIS system.
