Congratulations on the first approval for June 2009!

I have a quick q;

What are the chances of getting transfered if you had your paperwork completed by an attorney?

I WILL fill my timeline in a few moments (before I get prompted!)

We mailed our package on June 9th 2009.

NOA notice date: June 17th

I-130 and I-765 touched: July 1st (but not I-130)

Biometrics: July 9th CANCELLED

Biometrics: July 18th completed

I-485 & I-765 touched: July 20th & 21st

Received interview notice: August 8th

EAD production ordered: August 12th

EAD CARD received: August 17th

EAD Approval notice sent: August 17th

INTERVIEW: SEPTEMBER 8TH

I dont think it matters. I filed my own paperwork and completed everything from the K1 application to AOS using the help of this site. I think it really comes down to how credible you appeared at your interview (if you had an interview as a K1), your income level, and a little bit of luck. I wouldnt waste my money on an attorney so long as you follow the instructions on the site.

Thanks R&R we are already using an attorney I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens!

Super Congrats!!! I was looking over past timelines and thought that someone may hear something soon. You must be so excited...celebrate tonight! I have been very busy looking for work so I haven't posted in a bit but I am keeping up with all the activity. Congrats to all that have seen some action. I am still waiting for news on our EAD and AP but I may hear about my GC before I hear about the others. I have an interview tomorrow at a local High School for a long term art position. Wish me luck and again Congrats to all especially Richy and Rosy!

Being transfered is not about how you submitted your form, its what kind of visa your holding and your current status. Those filling from K1 already had an interview from the beneficiery's country so they are the ones who are most likely to be transfered. Also, they only submit form 485 for AOS and not the I-130.
