WOW USCIS is on a roll and wasting no time…I haven’t had a chance to read all of the post on this thread but CONGRATS to all on their great news!!

Since it’s been a while here is my update- I had to reschedule my biometrics which was slated for the 30th of June. Prior to this I showed up a week and a half early for the appointment but was told walk-ins were not permitted. I explained that I would be out of state on the scheduled date and will not return until a week after. I was advised to mail the Biometrics notice back to their office and I would be sent a new date and time.

After my trip I did this and in a weeks’ time I received a new appointment letter. I went in yesterday at 11a.m …was done within 15 minutes..by 5pm yesterday, I received a case update stating that a card production was ordered. I was blown away at the fact that so soon after my biometrics this was done….especially since I haven’t had a touch on my applications in over a month.

Congratulations! Looks like they were just waiting for those prints! Was this EAD card production?

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Case Transfered to Another Office for Processing

On July 23, 2009, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.

We were transferred! Not noticing too much difference between those who have been transferred and those not as far as further updates, but at least something's moving!

I would say take everything. Passport and BC. I have a giant folder full of all the documents that pertain to Balvino's new life here and the vitals from Nicaragua. Better safe than sorry.

I hope we hear something soon...we are next in line.

Congratulations! That's funny about your husband, don't you just wish he was right though?! You have to wait just a little bit more though, and you'll be there!!

DavChels,

I woke up today and right after checking my e-mail, went to check if there have been any "updates" on USCIS. And it was down.. :( At least now I am on the computer less during the day, because I know that there is no need to check every hour..

It has been about 2 weeks since I heard ANY news, hope coming week will bring something good!

Good luck to everyone again, and congratulations on the progress!
