The only thing I'm worried about is if they don't accept my RFE response because that happened to someone here on VJ for the same thing...but many others have been fine. We'll see!

If that was the case, they would tell you that there was not enough evidence or smth like that, and you would be able to see it on the website (since you sent your RFE quite some time ago already).

I know it's easier said than done, but I don't think you should worry about it.

i wonder why i never get any touches on my AOS..... but when I checked the mailbox a few minutes ago, a letter from USCIS has been sitting there. I asked my husband to open it for me since I was carrying my baby. then VOILA!, REQUEST FOR APPLICANT TO APPEAR FOR INITIAL INTERVIEW

its on the 20th of AUG at 11am...

wow... i am just so happy... im hoping that it would be a breeze though. :)

God is good... He will guide me for sure and send the Holy Spirit to enlighten the interviewer.. :)

You know what, i think you are the first June filer on VJ to get an interview letter....Congrats.

I honestly think with how fast the other filers have been going this year we will all have our interviews before the fall.

here is what is stated on their website regarding my aos and it never changed sinced july 06.

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Fingerprint fee accepted; receipt notice mailed and case pending.

On June 5, 2009, your fingerprint fee was accepted and we have mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Your case is now pending. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process each kind of case in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location. Follow the link below for current processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

i guess there really are cases wherein you wont see any touches but your case is being reviewed. i just hope things will be a breeze come interview day.

You know what, i think you are the first June filer on VJ to get an interview letter....Congrats.

do you think my spouse being in the military is a factor as to why i got quite a speedy processing?

it could be a reason but i really dont know. i read too that there is a special number for the military petitioners to call to ask for the status of their petitions for their spouses/kids.

i just pray all the time. prayers help a lot.

Had my Biometrics today in Tampa, it was a breeze. Only took 5 minutes for everything.

Checked the USCIS website when I got back and I have been approved for AP..... :dance::dance::dance::dance:

I hope everyone recieves some good news soon... :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

Maybe a reason, but I think from what I have read, that expediting the process applies upon military request. I don't even know if it is an option to expedite for AOS. It may just apply to visa application.

I checked website this morning and my EAD was ordered yesterday, should receive it within 30 days. :dance::dance::dance:
