Congrats! Seems like things are moving along really fast! Hopefully by the end of September we all will have GCs in our hands?! (I hope!!)

Oh, sorry, I didn't understand you well.

I signed up for updates at USCIS website only on the 6th of July, so I didn't get an email update from them (the RFE was sent to me on Jul 05), BUT when they sent out RFE, I first found out about it through the website, because it said that on a certain date they sent out the request for evidence. There was no word though on what it was about specifically, I had to wait for an actual letter in the mail to learn about that.

Hope it answers your question! And congratulations on having your case resumed, that's great!!

Hmmm, I didn't ever get one that said RFE sent out - it said "Case received and pending" until they received it. At least I know they received it! I had a horrible dream last night that it was denied :(

I've had one of those dreams too! And then they took me away and said there new rule is to deport people on the spot who get denied and they are never allowed into the states again!

i'm trying not to think about it honestly. I know it's hard but I try my best!

You are getting way too many touches...almost everyday...how lucky:)

My GC hasn't been touched in over 1 1/2 months, i check everyday [i should stop this coz it makes feel bad] and i can't wait for the interview letter.

i wonder why i never get any touches on my AOS..... but when I checked the mailbox a few minutes ago, a letter from USCIS has been sitting there. I asked my husband to open it for me since I was carrying my baby. then VOILA!, REQUEST FOR APPLICANT TO APPEAR FOR INITIAL INTERVIEW

its on the 20th of AUG at 11am...

wow... i am just so happy... im hoping that it would be a breeze though. :)

God is good... He will guide me for sure and send the Holy Spirit to enlighten the interviewer.. :)

The only thing I'm worried about is if they don't accept my RFE response because that happened to someone here on VJ for the same thing...but many others have been fine. We'll see!

Had my Biometrics today in Tampa, it was a breeze. Only took 5 minutes for everything.

Checked the USCIS website when I got back and I have been approved for AP..... :dance::dance::dance::dance:

I hope everyone recieves some good news soon... :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:
