AWWWW I'm a June filer i wanna get touched ... someone touch me ... hahaha ... actually my biometrics is tomorrow so should be touched soon .

Hi Guys,

Some advice please. I filed my AOS including Advanced Parole and EAD at the beginning of June, received NOA dated June 12th. I went in early for my biometrics on June 23rd. The original appointment was for July 9th, this was cancelled and a new appointment letter was received for July 21st. I know I don't need to go as I've already done my biometrics, but I haven't had a single touch or anything since the original NOA. Should I be worried? Everybody else seems to have touches as soon as biometrics are done!!

I wouldn't worry about the touches...my AP has never shown a touch. Paul I would search the forums regarding showing up or not showing up for that bio appointment. I know you already went, and I can't remember where I read it, but this topic came up somewhere. If i remember the person called and was told to go and it was a waste of time. Just make sure...I guess you still have your letter that you received when you went to your appointment that was stamped and initialed?

Panna, did you get an email saying an RFE had been sent out? If so, I know that mine just isn't being updated...just as it didn't for K-1 either.

That did cross my mind but I'm registered on another forum and an immigration lawyer occasionally posts on there and told me I don't need to go a second time. But it's great to hear from someone who actually did go back.

I know I need patience...it's just hard when everyone is getting touches after biometrics and three weeks later I still haven't. I need to start working soon and need that EAD!!

When I sent RFE back to them, I sent it with delivery confirmation, so I knew by checking USPS website that my package was delivered on Monday. And just today I got an e-mail update on my file that they received it and will resume my case. Hope that answers your question, if not - let me know.

And yes, they probably get so many packages all the time that it takes them plenty time to make sure everything was received that they asked for and update your case, so don't worry!! I'm sure you'll hear from them VERY soon

Oh, sorry, I didn't understand you well.

I signed up for updates at USCIS website only on the 6th of July, so I didn't get an email update from them (the RFE was sent to me on Jul 05), BUT when they sent out RFE, I first found out about it through the website, because it said that on a certain date they sent out the request for evidence. There was no word though on what it was about specifically, I had to wait for an actual letter in the mail to learn about that.
