Well i went to the Biometrics for the 2nd time. They told me that i should have ignored the second notice. We told them that we called the Cutomer Service Number and they just told us the read from scripted info. Nway noticed another touch on my GC yesterday. { Sunday}

Anytime you feel impatient ask God to give patience :star: patience :star: and more patience :star:

have a blessed week.

I would to encourage everyone here that this {visa} journey shall come to an end , and we will have victory in the Lord. AMEN

I just got back from the Biometrics office in our area ( I tried to make a walk-in because the fingerprints are scheduled on the same day with my wedding reception). I used all my charm :innocent: , but they didn't let me do my biometrics earlier and told my to reschedule my appointment ( you know for a later date  )-. I am so very mad right now :crying: knowing that so many people did their walk-ins without any complication, some of them without any reason . Why do they treat us as second hand people  ?

So ladies & gentlemen Fort Worth biometrics office sucks :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

Botevinka, I had the same bio office...lol...the one in the mall at Fort Worth. I tried to do a walk in but a member on VJ advised me not to because apparently they don't take walk-ins. Sorry about that, i hope you didn't have to drive for long to get there. I also noticed that the office was really empty, it probably had like 3 people the whole time i was there. The good thing is that it only takes 10min to get it done.

Hi,

It seems like we live in the same area- I live in Euless ( right next to DFW airport), so Fort Worth is not that far. When I went there on Saturday the office was empty- I was the only one there, but they didn't let me do my biometrics...they just suck. My husband told me that he went for his biometrics like 20 minutes earlier and they made him go outside and wait for 40 minutes. They were waiting for a group of 20-30 people to gather and do their biometrics at the same time  .

Congrats for your EAD, it took you like 2 months to get it- that's excellent

They use the picture from biometrics appointment?! Uhh.. I thought it'd be the one we send them with the application. Well, I can't wait to see what it will look like! (and unfortunately, I have a feeling I am not going to be happy with that photo :) But oh well...

I sent my RFE on Friday, and keep checking the tracking number, and it only shows that it has been accepted by the post office. I can't wait to get the letter in the mail that our case is resumed!!

Good luck to everyone and happy Monday!

Botevinka - I live in Denton right now so i had to drive for 45min to get there. I have liked in the HEB area before, Hurst and Bedford, but never in Euless.

I hope you can work around your wedding reception because trying to reschedule your bio appt is going to be a total pain in the neck. Good Luck with all.

Happy Monday to all as well. I have a feeling that it will be a bit quiet for us now after all the action on our AOS. The last touch was on the 10th. No touches on the other two applications, not even for the biometrics we did back in June. I have a question...When you all went in for your biometrics did they give you back your appointment slip stamped and initialed by the person at the desk that checked you in or did they keep it. I was just going through our paperwork and realized that we still have the appointment notice with the stamp.

Panna, To answer your question about our kitten during the flight. She was a dream. She took a nap and people watched from her carrying case. The only time she complained was in the cab going to the airport.

Hope to hear good news on the thread this week. Good Luck all!!

I haven't received any touches on the GC at all...the last touch was on 06/05/2009. I have been checking everyday but i think it should stop....i don't want to get AOS OCD or something like that.

Some VJ Members have said not to worry so much about the touches and i am trying to do that right now.

You should fill in your time line as your signiture, it's kind of encouraging:)

That is so funny  I have the same luck. You should see my new DL I think I even have an adams apple. It may be better than my last DL photo. People, complete strangers, would often comment on the fact that I must have had a bad hair day. Balvino always looks good in photos so I hope the EAD will not be too bad.
