I think you never know with USCIS

I received another appointment letter for Biometrics on the 11th ( This saturday) ( I have done my biometrics) I called the FBI to to confirm if it was something with my fingerprints but they said they recieved it processed it on the same day and returned it to the uscis. I called the Customer Service Number and was given the standard answer to just appear with the other stamped appointment letter plus the new one . I dont think i want to but i have no choice. I have had touches on my AOS and and a transfer to CSC. Im just wondering if this is possible before capturing the biometrics.

Hope all You june filers get a speedy desicion ... my app was transfered to CSC but i'm still counting on going to have to do interview ( and if i dont then bonus) .. anyways good luck y'all and hope for no RFE's

Another touch today and this email. I think this is the same email you got last week subguy812. Nothing in the mail yet but our snail mail is a bit delayed. Still nothing on AP or EAD. Yes lets hope for no RFEs.

Yes it is the same..I haven't had a touch since the initial flurry. I am thinking they must be doing the background name check.

To give you all some hope: I got my AP several days before my Bio appointment and also had a few touches on the EAD. So after my Bio yesterday, at night I already received an e-mail saying that my EAD card production was ordered.

Overall, I think things are moving really fast. Despite one RFE early on and a relatively long wait for my Bio appointment (though I did not get my appointment cancelled as many others here did).

5 weeks for AP and EAD. I hope they will keep up that speed. Now we're waiting for the Interview appointment.

THANKS everybody for your experiences and answers. This forum helped us a lot! Certainly one reason why the process has been so smooth and quick. Thanks!

Hardy82 - Congratulations on the speedy progress! That's terrrific! Would you mind filling in your timeline? Sounds like your situation is similar to mine - filing for AOS from H-1B in early June - so I would love to compare dates, etc. Thanks!

My husband considered going early but we just never got around to it. Our appointment is next Wednesday but I guess going on Monday can't hurt...
