original noa? which one? you are meant to submit a copy of your noa2 for k1 petition (assuming that's the visa he came on) with the aos application ,although i am trying to file without it but its too soon yet to know if i have been successful. still not even got my biometrics appointment through yet. as for vaccinations... was all his required ones complete at interview and does he still have the copy of the vaccination tick chart that knightbridge gave with the receipt of payment of medical and xray ? the main medical stuiff was in brown envelope and they always keep that at poe.

Original NOA--Off the top of my head I can't remember which one but my lawyer only received an email notice at the time and I received the real one. My lawyer sent everything in this time with just a copy of the email they sent to her because we have lost the original. Maybe it's gone through ok for both you and us -- fingers crossed.

He had all his vaccinations done in the UK and they took the evidence--all of it!-- from him when he came here in January. Again, our lawyer explained this to USCIS and we are hoping to slip through without it. However, we may have to see a civil surgeon and get the vaccination supplement transcribed anyway. It would be a savings of money if they'll just use the copy they took from him and not make us pay for another one.

What do you think?

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter in response to the Request for Initial Evidence that I received dated June 29, 2009. The letter asks for form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record for my I-485 application. I am returning with this letter the form I-693, but with only the Vaccination Record filled out. It appears that the Request for Initial Evidence was asking for an entire medical exam in addition to the vaccination record, but I have enclosed copies of the K-1 visa from my passport and also I-485 instructions, page 4, part 8, which states the following:

“If you are a K-1 fiancé(e)…who had a medical examination within the past year as required for the nonimmigrant fiancé(e) visa, you only need to submit a vaccination supplement, not the entire medical report.”

I had a complete medical examination on March 11, 2009 with Dr. Roberto Eduardo Rivera M. of Avenida Reforma 7-62, Zona 9, Edificio Aristos Reforma, Nivel 8, #811, Guatemala City, Guatemala. I spoke with Luna, agent #691LM of the National Customer Service Center for USCIS on 7/6/09, and she confirmed that I would only need to submit the Vaccination Supplement of form I-693 along with papers showing I entered on a K-1 visa. Please accept the enclosed documents as proof thereof.

Sincerely,

I'm sure hoping so! We had to get tetanus today for $19 and getting it transferred at the civil surgeon was $37 so we didn't have to spend a lot...hopefully they'll accept it! I've seen several good reports on VJ with the same circumstances...and one who was denied although they did was someone from NCSC told them to do. Thanks!

i think there maybe people on here that got away with not having to get the vaccinations transcribed because they were complete at interview. Nick-nich has been keeping track of the uk aos filers on this aos spreadsheet and on there it says who sent the vaccinations transcribed and who didnt and as there are out comes she updates. it might be helpful.

http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=p4x...GAKEg&pli=1

as noa2 we never got an update on line or email either we found out from nvc. so we had to be very creative in trying to proove our prior approval because of all the failed atempts to get one from them or an update. and we ran out of time.

I hope all goes smoothly for you. so far i think they forgot to send my biometrics appointment to me or it might be awol as people who filed after me with the same local office have already got theirs. :(

Hi to all,

I am intruder here in June filers, but I want some help here with regards in I-693. Reading the forums, there are civil surgeons asking to do the whole medical examination process. I live in New Hampshire and the nearest Civil Surgeon here is in Nashua & Colebrook. Does anyone here done his/her vaccination near at this area? Because I just want to know if they can just do the vaccination only not the whole medical examination processing but still transcribe the vaccination to I-693.

Thank you very much.

Dalyn

Your K-1 medical from St. Luke's is good for 1 year. As long as you are filing the AOS before that year has expired, there is no need to have another medical in order to file AOS. Some civil surgeons will try and get you to take the entire physical again....either because they want to make more money on you or they are misinformed. Explain to them politely that it's not required because you have already had a physical for your K-1 visa within the past year. If they refuse to do the vaccinations without the physical, then I would look for another civil surgeon. If you look around, you can usually find a civil surgeon that will transfer the vaccinations for a small fee. I think I paid $25 for my wife a couple years ago to have it transferred.

If, however, you're filing your AOS more than one year following the exam at St. Luke's, then you will need another complete medical.

Hope this helps answer your question.

Scott

Sweet! Our Touch History: I am thinking that the touch on the 2nd was the transfer and the touch on the 3rd was them sending it to CSC and the touch yesterday on the 6th was CSC receiving the packet. So watch for more touches and good luck.

I just checked again another touch. I am a little nervous.

Scott

Hi Scott,

We called Dr. Arnold to transcribe my vaccination. I will take my vaccines at the health center or hospital near in our area.

Thank you very much.

Dalyn

I used Dr. Arnold and so far so good... they have a very quick turnaround on returning the paperwork
