It looks like the file was transferred once again...

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office.

This doesn't look like another transfer to me. I read this as confirmation that your file was received in California.

I would wait and see what comes in the mail. There was one person in April or March that got transfered a few times. I am not sure why but I don't think it was a bad thing based on their timeline. Keep us posted.

Bill,

I read it again..the thing was, as you noted, I received the first transfer before the biometrics, this one was after the biometric so I was just thinking it was an update after the biometric letting me know my case is being processed at the the center it was transferred to which was CSC

Hi guys,

My checks were finally cashed  and I can see the 13 character number on the back of my checks ( it starts with MSC right?). However my cases can not be found on-line...they probably need some more time to update the info  and since the long weekend has already started I am not hoping for any further updates this week  .

Happy Independence Day :goofy: !!!

They have cashed our cheque as well...but the online view I have of it is totally illegible. I think I can see MSC..but most of the numbers after that are very sketchy.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Same here not expecting much since I have been hearing they are possibly taking a week long vacation. I am waiting on a NOA1 and status online. My package was received June 25 and check cashed June 30.

You are not God, do not pass judgement, god will judge you. You are no better than anyone, stop acting as you are. You have to like yourself first before others do, do they really?. Stop trying to be a hero, you are not.

Are most of your timeline NOA1's reported with the date they were received or the date they were dated?

I listed mine by the date on the notice, which was the 11th of June. I received the NOA on the 15th if you look at the spread sheet it gives you a better idea of the time that it takes to receive. http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=raQ...uYl3bg0yXDPJ_Mw

Are they really taking a week off? Congrats on the cashed checks. Yeah progress!

We received RFE today for the Medical Exam grrrr. It's two pages, the first one says "In order to process your application further, you need to submit a properly completed and signed form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination record for the applicant on Form I-485." The second page says "You failed to submit proper documentation of immunization for the Form i-485 applicant. In order to process your application further, you need to submit a properly completed Form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record."

Is there a difference in these two? Sounds like we need to do a medical exam, since we only submitted DS-3025 and apparently they lost the original exam that got transferred from Guatemala...since the directions implicitely say if you came on a Fiance Visa and your Medical Exam is less than 1 year old than you don't have to submit anything. This is frustrating. What were you guys' experiences with the medical exam? Did you have to pay hundreds or how did it work for you all?

Both of those sound the same to me..how confusing! I imagine I will be getting one for that then, all I sent in was the copy of the record the consulate gave me. Bah.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Bummer...sorry to hear about the RFE. I think that the form I-693 is all you need for the I-485. You only need to get the vaccinations. If you have the information from the previous medical you can get the doctor to just do the vaccinations and do the supplemental form. I paid 150 or so but the full medical was 355, if I remember correctly. Good Luck and keep us posted. I do think that if you have had all the vaccinations you may just need the doctor here in the states to fill out the section of the I-693 stating that this is the case. The medical stuff is so frustrating because it is a bit inconsistent.

It's quite inconsistent. Some are getting through without it, and some are being made to get the transcript done. I wish they would have one set of rules..just the one.

Yes. The file was received at the CSC and is now in their system, that's why it says it's now pending at the office. The email before must have said it was transferred to California.
